94 WFW. "We were told that the few bottles they uncorked for us were the last at the winery, which is a shame. The nose gave almost nothing for minutes but eventually started smelling like cherries. There was none of that on the palate but an enticing austerity that might lead me to a mature Margaret River Cabernet. More than any other wine from Mondavi’s first decade, this was alive and still showed some dusty fruit. It was one of the more interesting bottles of the day."
