Lot #702. Siduri Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard 2001

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 90+ ST.
"Good medium ruby-red. Complex, expressive aromas of currant, raspberry, blackberry, chocolate, game and espresso. Smooth and sweet on entry and in the middle palate, with a distinct gamey quality. Then finishes with fairly substantial tongue-coating tannins that call for at least a couple years of patience. These vines typically produce small berries and thus a relatively high ratio of skins to juice, says Lee, and thus the wine has a tendency to be noticeably tannic. But here the fruit seems riper than that of 2000." Vinous, May 2003
Provenance: The Éclat Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $25
