"This is also exceptionally fresh especially in the context of the very ripe '09 vintage. There is fine complexity to the ripe plum, cassis, violet and earth suffused nose that gives way to quite rich and round flavors that possess an opulent mouth feel as well as excellent length. But perhaps what I like best is that this displays fine energy, which is something that not all '09s do.
