Lot #34. Bouchard Père & Fils (Maison) Chambertin-Clos de Bèze 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 97 ST.
"Dark, bright red. Multidimensional, soil-driven nose features wild red berries, smoke, minerals, dried rose, mocha, underbrush and an exhilarating suggestion of white flowers. Like pure silk in the mouth but with pungent mineral lift giving this voluminous, extract-rich wine a nearly weightless impression. As fat, full and solid as this is, the overall impression is of finesse and perfume. Finishes with extraordinary mounting persistence and perfectly buffered, noble tannins." Vinous, Mar 2008
Provenance: The Nantais Cellar
Notes: 3.5cm, lightly scuffed and lightly wine stained capsule, wine stained vintage neck tag, nicked and lightly scuffed label, sign of seepage.
