Lot #311. Domaine Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée Cros Parantoux 2011

Description: Consists of 1 Magnum, 1.5L
Packaging: OWC.
Score: 94+ JG.
"The 2011 Cros Parantoux also included some whole clusters in this vintage, with ten to fifteen percent of the stems retained. The young and superb nose delivers an excellent young mélange of black raspberries, red plums, duck, a touch of blood orange, beautifully complex minerality, Vosne spices and smoky new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very, very pure on the attack, with a sappy core of fruit, great elegance and focus, fine-grained tannins and superb length on the tangy and soil-driven finish. A beautifully suave young Cros Parantoux!" John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2012, Issue #42
Provenance: The Besançon Cellar
Notes: Very lightly scuffed and very lightly torn label.
