Lot #227. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grands Echézeaux 1995

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 18.5 JR.
"Really rich and sumptuous – much more so than the 2004. Wonderful structure but lots of ripe black cherry fruit in the middle. More flattering than the straight Échezeaux. There’s a slight hint of ink but real integrity of build. Nice, neat, dry finish. Serious stuff! Absolutely classic top quality burgundy which I can taste as I type up these notes – not just sweet and simple. Full of energy." JancisRobinson.com, 17 Jan 2007 (Tasted 12 Aug 2007)
Provenance: The Multitude Cellar
Notes: 3.0cm, Lightly scuffed capsule, lightly marked, nicked label.
