93 DM. "Aubert de Villaine chose a 2004 Richebourg for lunch at this tasting because of its 'good continuity' with the 2017 vintage. He also remarked that in 2004 there were still three ouvrées (0.125ha) of hundred-year-old vines. The wine is distinctly bricking at the rim and showing a bit of evolution, with aromas on the nose that include dried cherries, liquorice and black tea. The texture on the palate is very fine, and the wine lingers in a regal fashion on the finish. (Drink between 2022-2030)." Charles Curtis MW, Decanter, Jun 2022 |
