95 JG. "The 2013 Vosne-Romanée “Brulées” from Domaine Méo-Camuzet is another brilliant wine in the making. The superb and utterly classic nose wafts from the glass in a blend of black cherries, black raspberries, gamebirds, dark soil tones, fresh nutmeg, woodsmoke, cocoa and cedary wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and laser-like in its focus, with great mid-palate depth of sappy black fruit, superb soil inflection, fine-grained tannins, ripe acids and outstanding focus on the very, very long and classic finish."
