"This is an interesting combination of contrasting elements as the nose is at once concentrated yet elegant and ripe but cool with a layered mélange of red currant, plum and warm earth aromas. Like the Ruchottes this is really beautifully textured with plenty of tannin-buffering dry extract on the powerful, concentrated and energetic large-scaled flavors that terminate in a driving and explosive finish.
