Armand Heitz Chevalier Montrachet 2020, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Puligny Montrachet, Burgundy

"This is aromatically quite similar to the Perrières with its nose of matchstick, mineral reduction and markedly floral scents that are trimmed in just enough wood to remark upon. The wonderfully refined and intense medium weight flavors possess only average density though the bone-dry, firm, youthfully austere and stony finish displays superb length. Note well that at least some patience will be necessary as this is presently very tightly wound." 94 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

Armand Heitz Saint Aubin 1er Cru Les Castets 2020, 0.75L
Chardonnay from St. Aubin, Burgundy

"This is also aromatically cool and restrained with a more floral-suffused array of various white orchard fruit and orange rind. There is a really lovely texture to the nicely rich middle weight flavors that possess a seductive mouthfeel, all wrapped in a lightly austere and sneaky long finish that exhibits a refreshing salinity." Allen Meadows, Burghound

Chavy Chouet Meursault Les Casse Tetes 2021, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Meursault, Burgundy

"Three barrels instead of 15. Pretty pale lemon. Lightly perfumed, more in citrus. Quite complex behind, fairly generous fruit across the middle of the palate, then a lively acidity to finish. Good length, an interesting cuvée. Drink from 2025-2030." 89-92 Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

Chavy-Chouet Bourgogne Blanc Les Femelottes 2021, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Bourgogne, Burgundy

"The grapes are grown in the Puligny-Montrachet area, either just outside of the AOC limit or from younger vines. This is a charming, rich, focused and delightful white. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture, the wine has a fresh backbone of acidity, clean apple and citrus flavors, and an excellent balance. A most refreshing quaff and one that is great value. A delicate, expressive wine of exceptional quality." Importer Notes

Chavy-Chouet Meursault les Charmes 2020, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Meursault, Burgundy

"The 2020 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru perhaps does not deliver quite the same mineralité or energy as the Les Genevrieres on the nose, maybe a little timid at the moment. The palate is well balanced with a sapid entry, quite saline with hints of oyster shells and fruits de mer towards its composed and persistent finish. Very fine. (Drink between 2024-2040)"93 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous

"Moderately generous wood stops just short of fighting with the ripe aromas of pear and apple compote, citrus confit and white peach. The rich and relatively full-bodied flavors possess an abundance of dry extract that buffers the firm, palate coating and powerful finish. Some patience would be beneficial here as well as this is presently quite compact though not especially austere." 92 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

Domaine Chavy-Chouet Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chien 2020, 0.75L
Chardonnay from St. Aubin, Burgundy

"The 2020 Saint-Aubin Les Murgers des Dents de Chiens 1er Cru has a pretty bouquet that opens with orange blossom, red apples, a touch of melted wax and jasmine, all beautifully defined. The palate is very poised on the entry, the 25% new oak lending a little weight and depth, hints of orange zest, apricot and quince towards the finish. Give this 2-4 years for the oak to assimilate - it’s a great Saint-Aubin. (Drink between 2025-2040)" 93 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous
