Weingut Neumeister Sauvignon Blanc Ried Moarfeitl 2020, 0.75L
Sauvignon Blanc from Vulkanland Steiermark, Straden
"Light yellow-green color, with silver highlights. Fine yellow gooseberry notes with fine hints of cassis, a touch of orange, and subtle floral nuances. Complex, taut, white fruit, with fine apple notes, a lemony touch, and a saline finish; good persistency, a salty finish, and certain ageing potential." 95 Peter Moser, Falstaff Magazin
"Neumeister's 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Ried Moarfeitl GSTK offers a clear, complex and dense nose with fine soil spice and lots of iodine. Delicate on the palate, yet with substance and plenty of salt—most of all in the finish—this is a remarkably purist and fresh Moarfeitl with personality and a lot of finesse and elegance but also complexity. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in Grafenegg in September 2022." 93 Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate
"The flintiness and saltiness represent a remarkable beginning of this white, while its seductive texture really pulls you in. The zesty, high-pitched acidity flows through acting as the perfect vehicle for the lime, thistle-tea, lemon- verbena and chamomile notes. The long, stony finish glides effortlessly." 93 Aleks Zecevic, Wine Enthusiast

Haut-Brion Blanc 2019, 1.5L
Sauvignon Blanc / Sémillon from Pessac Leognan, Bordeaux
"Very aromatic, with a real airy quality of jasmine, lilacs, crushed stone, pear skin and apple, as well as some citrus. Full-bodied and dense with a creamy, phenolic texture that lasts for minutes at the end. Structured like a red wine. Reserved, compact and intense, and holding back for the future." 100 James Suckling

Francis Boulard Petraea III Brut Nature NV, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Champagne, Champagne
“Dried flowers, mint, spice and incense add aromatic intensity to the Pinot fruit. Readers will find a soft, caressing Champagne that is already showing a good bit of complexity …. This is a terrific set of wines from Francis Boulard et Fille, which is now run by Francis’ daughter Delphine. Sustainable farming and low intervention winemaking yield Champagnes that are marked by delineation, focus and remarkable purity. The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Les Vieilles Vignes is a fine introduction for readers who are new to the wines, while the 2013 Brut Nature Les Rachais shows how special this vintage is in the right hands.” 92, Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com

Clos Saint-Joseph I.G.P. Méditerranée Rouge 2017, 0.75L
Syrah / Grenache / Mourvèdre / Cabernet Sauvignon from Méditérranée, Provence
"In 2017, a hail storm destroyed much of Clos Saint Joseph’s red grapes. Half of this bottling comes from grapes from Clos Saint Joseph’s vines. The other half comes from donations of grapes from a large group of Provence’s top growers (an organization called Rouge Provence, intended to create solidarity among growers and promote Provence’s historic red wines) including Domaine Tempier, Domaine Hauvette, and Domaine de la Tour du Bon. All these grapes come from different AOCs (Bandol, Coteaux de Baux, Coteaux d’Aix, Coteaux Varois, Côtes de Provence), which is why the wine’s designation is I.G.P Méditerranée instead of Côtes de Provence." Domaine Jamet Cote Rotie 2021, 0.75L
Syrah from Côte Rôtie, Rhône
“Inky magenta. Highly expressive aromas of red and blue fruits, violet, incense, olive and baking spices, along with a smoky mineral top note. Stains the palate with vibrant, sharply etched black raspberry, blueberry, bitter cherry and floral pastille flavors that slowly deepen and become sweeter with air. Shows very good power but comes off lithe, showing no rough edges on a long, gently tannic finish that leaves behind sappy blue fruit and black pepper notes.” 93-95, Josh Raynolds, Dec, 2022

Lionel Faury Collines Rhodaniennes L'Art Zélé 2017, 0.75L
Syrah from St. Joseph, Rhône
"Bright purple. Pungent dark berry, cherry, olive and licorice scents are sharpened by peppery spice and mineral flourishes. Appealingly sweet blueberry, cassis and violet pastille flavors slowly deepen in the glass and pick up a smoky accent on the back half. Finishes smooth and long, displaying gentle sweetness, rounded tannins and a persistent floral note." 91 Points Josh Raynolds, Vinous

Philip Togni Cabernet Sauvignon Tanbark Hill 2021, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Spring Mountain District, California
"Tasted with Lisa and Philip Togni in their winery atop Spring Mountain in February of 2024. The Tanbark Hill was bottled in June of 2023. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged up to 20 months. The tannins are quite assertive at this young stage, in classic Spring Mountain Togni fashion, with a fine granularity about them. The wine feels quite complete, teeming with pure dark berry fruits and very fresh. Deeply mineral-tinged dark berries and black currants are framed by a wine with noticeable coiled-up energy and tension. It’s mostly mouthfeel at this stage and will soften with a few more years." 95, Jonathan Cristaldi, Decanter, Feb 2024
“The medium to full-bodied 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tanbark Hill Vineyard delivers complex notes of mountain fruit, with hints of sage and bay leaf accenting cassis, blueberries and raspberries. In the mouth, it's firmly buttressed by grainy tannins, with terrific acids that linger on the finish in mouthwatering fashion. This, Togni's "early-drinking" wine, should age two decades with ease.” 93, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Jul 2024
“The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tanbark Hill Vineyard is one of the most potent vintages of this wine I can remember tasting. Dense and textured, the 2021 shows ample dark fruit and complex earthy/savory undertones that add balance. The 2021 benefits from the addition of some excess fruit that would have been used in the main label but that, for practical purposes, ended up in the tanks for the Tanbark Hill. Readers will find a wine of breadth, power and character. In this vintage, the Tanbark Hill gives a very good idea of the quality and style of the Grand Vin. “ 93, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2023

Walter Scott Chardonnay Cuvee Anne 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Willamette Valley, Oregon
“The Cuvée Anne may serve as an introduction to the intensity of the Walter Scott single-vineyard Chardonnays. This barrel selection brings together fruit from the Justice, Koosah, Sojeau, and Witness Tree Vineyards. A fruity depth flashes across the aromatics with honeyed ginger, apricot flesh, dried white flowers, and a nutty, savoury note. The palate is rich and juicy, with a smoky lemon peel element brightening riper stone fruits and a poached peach richness. (Drink between 2024-2038).” 94, Clive Pursehouse, Decanter, May 2024
