Viñedo Chadwick 2015, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto, Valle del Maipo

"Very deep and primary fruit character to this red gives the wine amazing length and focus. It seems to go on forever. Full body yet vivid and energetic. Tannic and muscular yet so polished and refined." 99 James Suckling

Picked in March for the first time, this is the freshest and most refined release yet from this bijou Maipo Alto vineyard. More Lafite than Latour in style, it’s elegant, refined and refreshing, with wonderful grace and poise, chalky minerality and notes of graphite, cassis and fennel. A wine that (just about) merits its hefty price tag. 98 Tim Atkin MW

"Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Vinedo Chadwick Vineyard, aged 22 months in 73% new French oak (15% was in foudre), the 2015 Vinedo Chadwick is an incredible effort that has both elegance and richness. Notes of crème de cassis, graphite, wet stone-like minerality, and plenty of leafy herb characteristics all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, seamless, gorgeously polished red. It’s already drinking nicely yet should cruise in the cellar..." 97 Jeb Dunnuck

"I also tasted the 2015 Viñedo Chadwick from a warm and dry vintage that resulted in very healthy grapes that were picked earlier than ever. The parameters are remarkably similar to the 2014, and the winemaking and élevage were also virtually the same, fermentation in stainless steel and aging in French barriques (73% new) and with some 15% matured in a Stockinger oak foudre. As I saw in many other 2015s, this is the most elegant and refined vintage I have seen of this wine. With ultra-refined tannin, the wine is dry, very clean, not minty at all, with very good tension and length, with a chalky, tasty, almost salty finish. Of course, the classical notes of cedar wood, black peppercorns and tobacco are there, but in a very subtle way. Super elegant . . . . Superb showing of the Aconcagua Costa range from Errázuriz, the wines that started the transformation towards fresher wines with less sweetness and oak. God bless them!" 95 Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate

Belle-Brise 2015, 0.75L
Merlot from Pomerol, Bordeaux

"Biodynamic. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. This enigmatic Pomerol estate has a cult following... the 800-odd cases are sold directly to Michelin restaurants all over the world. In France alone, 18 Michelin three-star restaurants carry Belle-Brise on their lists. These very well crafted wines that often demonstrate a Burgundy-like allure (indeed, Monsieur de Coincy aspires a cross between Le Pin and Chambolle-Musigny)" - Importer Notes, Weygandt Wines

Le Prieure 2018, 0.75L
Merlot / Cabernet Franc from St. Emilion, Bordeaux

The 2018 Le Prieuré is all class, just as it was en primeur. Silky, perfumed and light on its feet, the 2018 is a fabulous example of how refined Saint-Émilion can be. Once again, I am so impressed by the wine's freshness and vitality. Sweet red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint and cinnamon all build over time, but what stands out most is the wine's exceptional balance and harmony. Technical Director Penelope Godefroy has done a magnificent job at Le Prieuré since taking over a few years ago. The 2018 is superb, and an incredible value. 96 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Rieussec 2011, 0.75L
Sauvignon Blanc / Sémillon from Sauternes, Bordeaux

"The 2011 Rieussec, a blend of 95% Semillon, 2% Sauvignon Blanc and 3% Muscadelle is an absolute dream. There is wonderful precision and mineralité on the nose, the new oak more integrated than a few months ago. The palate is beautifully balanced with clear honey, brioche and pralines, a sensual Rieussec that is utterly charming, hints of nougat and almond lingering on the long finish. Gorgeous!" - 95, Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate

Domaine des Croix Corton Les Greves 2017, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Aloxe Corton, Burgundy

"25% whole bunch. Solid deep red purple with a significant weight of fruit on the nose. Dark cherry to the fore with other red fruits competing for a place. There is a huge weight of absolutely gorgeous pure red fruit in the middle and then right at the end the typical mineral crunch comes through. Tannins are present but not dominating. Absolutely in balance, a lovely Corton for the long term." 91-94 Jasper Morris MW

"The 2017 Corton Greves Grand Cru contains 25% whole clusters and around 20% new oak. It has a more engaging, complex bouquet than the Corton La Vigne Au Saint, featuring more crushed stone and a subtle sea spray scent infusing the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded, quite supple tannin. There is plenty of red berry fruit here, and an earthy undercurrent becomes more pronounced toward the linear finish. Give this two or three years in bottle and drink after the La Vigne Au Saint." 91-93 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous

P. Guillemot Savigny Les Jarrons 2019, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Savigny-lès-Beaune, Burgundy

"Some growers of Les Jarrons, including Guillemot, farm a portion of this eight-hectare lieu-dit known as La Dominode, a name that indicates the plots once belonged to a local lord. As you can imagine, lords liked to keep the very best plots to themselves, and this is one of the village’s best sites. Out of all their premier cru bottlings, Les Jarrons is the domaine’s most tangy and supple, bursting with that juicy griotte (sour cherry) quality we love about Savigny, and have come to expect from Guillemot’s most elegant, time-honored style of Pinot."

Full-bodied, rich and muscular, it's deep and concentrated, with a serious chassis of ripe, powdery tannins, lively acids and a long, resonant finish. Y. Clerget Meursault Les Chevalières 2019, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Meursault, Burgundy

"The 2019 Meursault Les Chevalières comes from a single parcel - this being the penultimate vintage since Clerget pulled up the vines as they are superannuated and produced only three barrels in 2020. Matured in 20% new oak, it has a gentle bouquet with light apple blossom and peach skin aromas, a hint of hazelnut loitering backstage. The palate is well balanced with a light citrus peel note on the entry flanked by orange pith and again, peach skin notes. This is a gentle and caressing Meursault that should be ready to drink after just 12-18 months in bottle." 90-92 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous

Chartogne-Taillet Cuvée Sainte Anne Brut NV, 0.75L
Pinot Noir / Chardonnay from Merfy, Champagne

"The NV Brut Cuvée Ste.-Anne is an absolutely stunning Champagne for its complexity, value and soulfulness. Rich and creamy on the palate, with tons of resonance, the Cuvée Ste.-Anne is absolutely impeccable. Dried orchard fruit, spice, pastry, baked apple tart and lemon confit all infuse the Cuvée Ste.-Anne with striking complexity and depth. I can't think of too many Champagnes that deliver this level of quality for the money. Not surprisingly, I have seen it offered by the glass in a number of top restaurants around the world. Guillaume Sergent Chemin des Chappes Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut NV, 0.75L
Chardonnay / Pinot Noir / Pinot Meunier from Vrigny, Champagne

". . . Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs Les Chemin des Chappes 1er Cru is fabulous. A blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Meunier, the 2014 exudes power, depth and intensity. The low dosage of just three grams per liter keeps things brisk yet the structure of the red grapes comes through all the same. This is compelling juice. Dosage is 3 grams per liter . . . . I was deeply impressed with Guillaume Sergent's Champagnes. Sergent's 1.5 hectares in the villages of Vrigny and Coulommes, both in the Montagne de Reims, give birth to these two tiny-production cuvées. The wines are fermented and aged in barrel, and bottled with no dosage. The Blanc de Blancs Les Prés Dieu is a blend of fruit from the Prés and Vignes Dieu lieux-dits in Vrigny and Coulonnes respectively, while the Blanc de Noirs Les Chemin des Chappes is equal parts Pinot Noir and Meunier from Vrigny. Like a lot of small, artisan growers, Sergent releases his wines before they can officially be declared as vintage Champagnes, which means they also see a relatively short amount of time in bottle before release. Even so, the two 2014s I tasted are both superb and point to a very bright future." 94 Antonio Galloni

Laherte Frères Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers Extra-Brut NV, 0.75L
Pinot Meunier from Chavot, Champagne

"Laherte’s NV (2015) Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers VV is 100% Meunier from vines planted in 1953, 1958 and 1965. Creamy and resonant on the palate, with tremendous aromatic depth, the Beaudiers is flat-out gorgeous. Sweet red cherry, mint, kirsch, game and dried herbs infuse the 2015 with myriad layers of complexity that reveal themselves with time in the glass. The 2015 spent two years in barrel prior to bottling, which is long by Champagne standards. More importantly, though, it is a wine of tremendous personality and pure breeding. Dosage: 3 gr/L. Robert Moncuit Les Chetillons Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Extra Brut 2015, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne

Robert Moncuit is a French family winery with over a century of history. It is located in Le Mesnil-sur-Auger, where Alex Monqui planted vines in 1889. The first cuvées of them were obtained by Robert, Alex's grandson, only in 1935. Since then, the estate has been producing exceptional sparkling wines that are famous all over the world. The volume of wines produced is limited and amounts to 60,000 liters per year. After the death of Robert Monqui in 1987, his children, Françoise and Pierre Amille, took over the management of the company. They create elite champagnes from grapes from an area of 8 hectares of the Grand Cru category, fully occupied by Chardonnay grapes. The vines are processed without the use of pesticides, the harvest is carried out manually, and each batch is vinified separately, after which the wines are collected in exclusive blends.

Philippe Gilbert Menetou-Salon Les Chandelières Rouge 2015, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Menetou-Salon, Loire

"Les Chandelières is an east-facing vineyard of pure Kimmeridgian limestone planted in 1970 by Philippe’s father, and Philippe renders a Pinot Noir of such purity and expressiveness here as to make a Burgundian blush. Fermented with 25% whole clusters in large open-top wood, and aged two years in a combination of used demi-muid and stainless steel, the 2015 is luscious but controlled, with clean, fresh tannins and a profound mineral core. Philippe was the first biodynamic practitioner (now certified as such) in Menetou-Salon, and the health of his fruit is brazenly apparent in the finished wines. Ultra-low sulfur (around 30 milligrams per liter of total sulfur-dioxide) and a lack of new oak make for a Pinot Noir both terroir-transparent and ravishingly delicious."Clarke Boehling, Rosenthal Wine Merchant

Domaine Tempier Bandol Cuvée Spéciale La Migoua 2018, 0.75L
Mourvèdre from Bandol, Provence

"La Migoua is made up of heterogeneous clay that varies in color between red, ochre, and blue. At 270 meters, it sits at the highest altitude of all the vineyards. The parcel’s complex sedimentation is largely due to the subduction of a tectonic plate which has surfaced the oldest rock outcroppings in the whole of the appellation. Surrounded by garrigue and pine forest, the grapes translate to earthy, gamey wines. La Migoua has the smallest amount of Mourvèdre in the blend, with the highest percentage of Grenache of the three cuvées." Importer Notes, Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant

"Sangue di Giuda is a unique, off-dry, slightly sparkling blend of 65% Croatina (believed to be a variation of Bonarda), 20% Uva Rara, and 15% Barbera; a bit less dry than Lambrusco, it is ripe, a bit tannic, low in alcohol, with fine bubbles and nice fruit flavors."

Luigi Einaudi Barolo Cannubi 2015, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barolo, Piedmont

"The 2015 Barolo Cannubi is super-polished and elegant. Rich and ample, in the style of the year, the 2015 has quite a bit of volume, but the aromatics and silky tannins are very clearly those of Cannubi. Rose petal, sweet red cherry, blood orange, spice and mint add lovely top notes. Today, the 2015 gives the impression it will drink well early and mature at a relatively fast pace."93 Points Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"A beautiful sense of resolve on the first impression with perfectly ripe red cherries taking center stage on the nose. The palate has a deliciously juicy core of fresh red cherry and berry flavor and smooth, firm and sturdy tannins. Drink or hold." 93 Points James Suckling

Nervi-Conterno Gattinara Vigna Molsino 2016, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Gattinara, Piedmont

"Tasted next to the Valferana, the 2016 Gattinara Vigna Molsino is much more nervous in feel. Iron, dried herbs, sweet dried cherry, mint, crushed rocks, white pepper and earthy notes give the Molsino a good deal of aromatic complexity to match its intense, saline-infused minerality. Today, though, the tannins and acids are almost overpowering. Readers will find an old-school, classically austere Gattinara that needs 10-15 years to be at its best. The 2016 is an absolute jewel of a wine, but it should be purchased only by readers with either very good genes are a ton of optimism regarding their own longevity." 96+ Points Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Conti Costanti Rosso di Montalcino 2018, 0.75L
Sangiovese from Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany

"The 2018 Rosso di Montalcino is very pretty, showing musky, bright cherry, dried roses and savory spice. There’s remarkable purity here, with soft textures giving way to tart wild berry fruit complemented by zesty acids. It’s dry and lightly structured throughout the finale with lasting inner florals and a twang of sour citrus. This is far from your typical Rosso. The Costanti Rosso is a barrel selection that matures for one year in a combination of 60% tonneaux and 40% new 35-40 hectoliter barrels."  92 Points Eric Guido, Vinous

La Serena Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Gemini 2013, 0.75L
Sangiovese from Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany

"The 2013 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Gemini shows a ripe yet earthy display of forest berries with spicy florals, notes of moist soil, crushed stone and hints of animal musk. On the palate, soft textures envelop the senses in a coating of sweet and sour red fruits and spice with a citrus twang, as tannins slowly mount, yet the Gemini maintains freshness beautifully through zesty acids and inner florals. The finish is long, turning more toward the youthfully tart side, with saturating spices and grippy tannins clenching the senses. It has many years to go before all of the elements come into balance, but once they do, pure beauty. I tasted the 2013 Gemini over the course of two days and it just kept getting better." 95 Points, Eric Guido, Vinous

La Serena Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Gemini 2015, 0.75L
Sangiovese from Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany

"The 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Gemini is fruit-forward and a bit extroverted yet impossible to ignore. It boasts a striking mix with intense raspberry preserves, exotic spices and dusty dried florals. Its textures are soft and fleshy, creating a creamy feel to its radiant, ripe fruit profile, while maintaining balance through brisk acids and grippy tannins. The 2015 Gemini takes a turn toward austerity, finishing structured and grippy; yet through it all, sweet violet florals resonate. This may be a full-throttle and extroverted effort, but it’s well balanced and sure to have a lot of fans. Important to note that this was checked in on, and held up beautifully over the course of three days." 94 Points, Eric Guido, Vinous

Speri Amarone Sant' Urbano 2016, 0.75L
Corvina / Molinara / Rondinella from Amarone della Valpolicella, Veneto

"The 2016 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Sant'Urbano takes some time to blossom in the glass, as mineral-tinged blackberry evolves into a display of currants and cherries complemented by hints of sweet mint, lavender and violets. It’s velvety in texture and savory to the core, coasting dark red and black fruits across a medium-bodied frame, contrasted by vibrant acids, as grippy tannins form up toward the close. This finishes youthfully structured yet amazingly long, with echoes of licorice and purple inner florals. The 2016 is geared for the cellar, and in need of some time to soften, but my expectations are very high.'" 95 Points Eric Guido, Vinous

Onó Sotol NV, 0.75L
Sotol from Chihuahua, Chihuahua

"Sotol is a distillate made from the head of the Dasylirion plant, of the Asparagaceae family, known by the same name and indigenous to Northern Mexico. The word ‘Sotol’ is derived from the Náhuatl language, meaning “the sweet of the head,” long used by different native tribes like the Anasazi, Tarahumara, Toboso and Apache for centuries, and called ‘Sereque’ by the Raramuri peoples. For 800 years, the Tarahumara have produced Sotol for their spiritual ceremonies, led by their revered Shaman (Onó). The soulfulness of Sotol, makes the first sips a pleasure to the palate. Casco Viejo Tequila Blanco NV, 1L
Tequila from Jalisco, Jalisco

"Produced by the revered Camarena family in the iconic distilling town of Arandas, Casco Viejo Tequila is an outstanding entry-level tequila. Blending tradition and modernism, the family operates the same estate grounds they’ve worked since the 1830s, while employing a patented production process called Zero D which integrates recycling into all aspects of the tequila-making process.

Casco Viejo is made entirely from Blue Weber agave grown in the Los Altos region of Jalisco; this highland plateau, around 7,000 above sea level, is widely regarded as one of the top agave producing environments in Mexico by virtue of its iron- and clay-rich red soil, hot days of sun exposure and cooling breezy nights. Production is vertically integrated, as the Camarena family owns 18 fields of agave. The agave is cooked in traditional brick furnaces, fermented in wooden vats and distilled twice in traditional copper pot stills." Importer Notes, Skurnik Wines & Spirits

La Vizcaina (Raúl Pérez) Bierzo La Vitoriana 2017, 0.75L
Mencía from Bierzo, Castilla y León

"The 2017 La Vizcaína La Vitoriana has depth and power, inherent to the vineyard, a cool site that behaves well in a warm year like 2017, but in 2017 I still prefer El Rapolao. The fruit is a little darker and riper without excess (it's all relative when you compare, and sometimes comparisons are tedious...), as the cooler exposition takes the warmer weather better. It's textured and serious. 6,300 bottles were filled, as the north-facing exposures like this escaped the frost of the 2017 spring. High Coast Hav Single Malt Whisky NV, 0.75L
Whisky from Bjärtrå, Sweden

"A culture of high-quality craftsmanship, innovation, and environmental consciousness sets Nordic whiskies apart from other world whiskies. Hav, Swedish for the sea, is part of High Coast’s exceptional Origins series, and its flavor shorthand is oak spice. Wood spices, peat smoke, vanilla cream, and orange peel on the nose precede a lush palate of fruit and spice displaying sweet apricot, peach, honey, and dried tropical fruits, with a lengthy, spicy finish. Matured in bourbon casks, it mingles batches of peated and unpeated spirit, with some components receiving an accelerator period in 40-liter casks coopered from Hungarian and Swedish oak."
"This single malt is crafted in Sweden, taking advantage of the extreme temperature changes during its maturation process. Crafted with both peated and unpeated whisky, it has matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky, Swedish oak casks, and Hungarian oak casks. Tasting Notes: The nose is fruity and spicy with aromas of clove, gentle peat, and nutmeg. The palate features a nice balance of fruit and spice, along with hints of peat. The finish is oaky with vanilla and clove." 93 Points/Top 20 Whiskies of 2021, Whisky Advocate

Robert Craig Cabernet Sauvignon Affinity 2012, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"The least expensive wine is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Affinity, the estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the foothills just south of Stag’s Leap blended with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. An absolutely stunning value in Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa, the wine has an inky/purple color, a big sweet kiss of créme de cassis, spice box, mocha and assorted black fruits. It is full-bodied and ripe with low acidity and sweet tannins. This wine is showy and up front, but has enough stuffing to last 7-10 years or more. "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard CCS is the gem in the lineup and is a perfect wine in every sense. Possessing a deep purple color, awesome minerality in its graphite, blueberry, cassis, and spice-driven aromatics, full-bodied richness and a weightless, elegant yet powerful style that needs to be tasted to be believed, this heavenly 2015 glides over the palate and is as seamless and pure as they come. Vöcal Grüner Veltliner Alfaro Vineyard 2018, 0.75L
Grüner Veltliner from Santa Cruz Mountains, California

"Intriguing aromas of mandarin rind, paraffin, light green herbs and blanched almonds show on the nose of this bottling by the sommelier-turned-winemaker Ted Glennon. There's an oily viscosity to the palate, where those citrus and herb flavors meet with hints of tropical mango and light nuts, proving very complex throughout." 93 Points Matt Kettmann, Wine Enthusiast
