Altos Las Hormigas Malbec Reserve 2020, 0.75L
Malbec from Valle de Uco, Mendoza
"The 2020 Malbec Reserve was produced from vines on limestone soils in Gualtallary (80%) and Altamira (20%) with concentration and elegance. It has 13.8% alcohol and keeps very good freshness and balance. It fermented with natural yeasts, and 75% of the volume matured in oak foudre for 18 months and the rest in raw concrete. They have had the courage to go for their own style, and this wine reflects that, but perhaps it's the most classical of their bottlings. It has ripeness without excess and varietal aromas of violet, iron and blood with an earthy touch and the chalky minerality in the texture. 2020 was a warm and dry vintage, and the wine manages to keep the poise and has the complexity of the noble origin but without the agility of the wines from 2019. 40,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2022." 93 Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Nov 2022

Altos las Hormigas Appellation Paraje Altamira Malbec 2019, 0.75L
Malbec from Altamira, Mendoza
"The 2019 Malbec Appellation Paraje Altamira is made with grapes from the eponymous Uco Valley GI and aged for 18 months in untoasted foudres. A rich violet in hue. The subtle, clean and austere nose offers notes of plum and cherry along with violet and herb aromas against a cedar backdrop. In the mouth, the core is provided by a juicy freshness while the texture is chalky. A little reactive grip makes for a compact, nimble and linear flow that guarantees it will grow in the bottle. Fresh grapes appear at the back of the throat enhanced by the tannins. Keep for a while before drinking to allow its subtle character to develop properly." 94 Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous

Bodegas Aleanna El Enemigo Malbec 2018, 0.75L
Malbec from Mendoza, Mendoza
"The 2018 Malbec has some 8% Cabernet Franc in the blend, and it has only 13.5% alcohol while retaining very good acidity. The grapes were sourced from Gualtallary and were co-fermented. It's a serious, subtle and mineral Malbec, with some austerity and shy varietal aromas of violets and wild herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with terrific texture and very clean and focused flavors, and it has the chalky texture from the limestone-rich soils. 28,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2019 after 12 months in ancient oak foudres." 93 Points, Luis Guiterrez, Wine Advocate

Chardonnay from Río Negro, Patagonia
"This has a complex yet refined nose of sliced apples, peach pits, smoked almonds, wet stones, chalk and white pepper. Hints of beeswax, juniper and cedar, too. It’s medium-bodied, elegant and light-footed, yet powerful, too. Creamy layers of stones and stone fruit slowly evolve to blanched almonds and nougat. Very long and precise. Try this from 2024. Juicy, intense and dense in the mouth, this is a powerful and firmly structured, still somewhat bitter Heiligenstein that needs some time to develop its full size. "The 2018 Ried Burgstall Riesling Federspiel is super clear and fresh on the aromatic nose with its perfectly ripe white peach and apricot aromas. Salty, pure and fresh on the crunchy, nicely reductive palate, this is a precise dry Riesling with grip and tension. Tasted after the 2017 and 2018 Unendlich Veltliners, this is a great refreshment but not easy to evaluate exactly. However, it can still stand, and that's not the worst sign. It is ripe and fresh but not green or vegetal, just grippy and refreshingly racy. Tasted at the domain in September 2019." Stephen Reinhardt, Wine Advocate

"From 60-year-old vines picked on September 29, Ott's Feuersbrunner 2017 Grüner Veltliner Ried Rosenberg 1ÖTW is super clear, precise and fresh on the nose where tropical and stone fruit aromas such as apricots, white peaches, nectarines, papayas and mangos are displayed. Full-bodied, lush and round with very fine acidity and good structure, this is a densely woven, fleshy, super elegant, persistent and very powerful Veltliner with an impressive but slightly massive finish. El Viejo Almacen Huaso de Sauzal Chilena Pais 2016, 0.75L
Pais from Cauquenes, Valle del Maule
“The star here is the País, which he calls 2016 Huaso de Sauzal Chilena, from grapes picked later than usual, as there was rain during March and April. All of the wines here ferment in traditional raulí wood casks. The vines are extremely old—they don't know how old—ungrafted and head-pruned in the Secano Interior traditional zone of Chile, where viticulture was without irrigation. It ferments with indigenous yeasts, without temperature control or any intervention, and the wine matures in well-seasoned, neutral oak barrels for 12 months before bottling. It's an aromatic and delicious País, with great perfume and character, mixing flowers and herbs, some spices and an earthy nuance with a volatile touch. The variety has some rustic tannins that need some food. This is possibly the best Chilena from Cancino so far. This is always among my favorite País from Chile. 11,000 bottles produced. Like the rest of the 2016s, it was bottled in February 2017. I met with Renán Cancino, the man behind El Viejo Almacén de Sauzal, in Madrid to taste the 2016s, as he was on a trip to Europe. He works nine hectares of old vines in Sauzal and Truquilemu in Maule that are planted with Cariñena, Garnacha and País. He produces some 22,000 bottles per vintage. 2016 was a rainy year, with moderate yields, good concentration, lower alcohol and very good acidity—wines with nice balance. Great wines with the peasant character of the place. The País, which he calls Chilena, is among the best in the country.” 93+ Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate

Blend from Bergheim, Alsace
"The 2018 Schoffweg "Le chemin des brebis" offers a pure, rich and intense, very elegant and concentrated bouquet of crushed limestone rocks and lemon peels. Fresh and elegant, dense and refined yet full-bodied, tight and complex on the palate, this is a very salty Schoffweg with a promising, finely bitter finish. This is still far too tight and young to be served now, even from a big glass, but it's a promising white in the Burgundian style. Alex Foillard Cote de Brouilly 2019 2019, 0.75L
Gamay from Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais
"Light, vivid ruby. Vibrant red fruit, floral and spice qualities on the mineral-inflected nose take on suggestions of incense and licorice as the wine stretches out. Sappy, incisive and pure, offering palate-staining raspberry, bitter cherry, floral pastille and rhubarb flavors that show a compelling blend of depth and vivacity. Closes very long and subtly chewy, with reverberating florality and polished tannins that come in late. That Foillard magic is clearly a hereditary thing." 94 points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous

Antoine Sunier Morgon 2020, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais
"Deep violet. Primary, mineral-tinged cherry, black raspberry and violet aromas take on a spicy nuance with air. Offers densely packed yet lively dark berry, cherry preserve and spicecake flavors and a touch of cola. Betrays no rough edges and shows excellent clarity on a strikingly long, subtly tannic finish that emphatically echoes the floral and mineral notes." 93 Josh Raynolds, Vinous
"Antoine Sunier’s Morgon hails from two lieux à dits, les Grands Cras and Croix de Chèvres, with all of the vines in excess of sixty years of age. The wine is fermented in cement vats with carbonic maceration and then racked off to old Burgundy casks for elevage. The 2020 Morgon is a beautiful wine in the making, delivering a superb aromatic constellation of black cherries, sweet dark berries, pomegranate, fresh thyme, dark soil tones, coffee bean and a topnote of bonfire. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, sappy and soil-driven, with a beautiful core of fruit, ripe, seamless tannins, lovely focus and grip and a long, beautifully balanced and complex finish. This is outstanding juice in the making." 93 John Gilman

Domaine Lafarge-Vial Fleurie Clos Vernay 2016, 0.75L
Gamay from Fleurie, Beaujolais
"The 2016 Fleurie Clos Vernay wafts from the glass with a nuanced bouquet of raspberries, wild plums, dark chocolate and loamy soil. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, tangy and quite concentrated, framed by elegantly fine-grained tannins that nevertheless suggest this is a wine that will go the distance, much like the family's Volnays." 93 Points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate
"A markedly more complex if not more elegant combination offers up notes of both red and dark raspberry that are cut with hints of earth and pepper. There is more volume and intensity to the concentrated and serious medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a mildly austere finish that is notably longer. This is excellent and well-worth considering." 92 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

"A generous red "The 2021 Fleurie comes from 3-hectares that suffered a lot of grillure in recent years and resulted in Foillard having to uproot parcels in the lieu-dit of "Champagne". This needs more encouragement on the nose compared to the Morgons. It is quite ripe considering the vintage - red cherries and crushed strawberry, hints of kirsch. Jean Foillard Morgon Cuvée Corcelette 2021, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais
“The 2021 Morgon Cuvée Corcelette comes from vines averaging 50-years in age, this vineyard suffering less reduction in volume than others due to the sandy soils. It is aged in used barrels for around 9 months. It has a quite compelling and complex bouquet, with raspberry and wild strawberry, rose petal and light chalky scents. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, finely chiseled and lending tension. The acidity keeps this taut, focused, and quite minerally …. Bon vin. One of the original ‘Gang of Four’ disciples, Foillard is rightly esteemed as one of the leading Beaujolais producers, which is not reflected in market prices. Few wines represent better value than this. I have visited the Domaine several times over the years. On this occasion, I met with Fanny Bellenger, who works with Jean’s son Alex Foillard, to taste recent releases and take a quick tour of the winery. Unfortunately, due to the growing season in 2021, volumes are down 30%. The two 2020s I tasted from Alex Foillard are promising, especially the Brouilly that, when juxtaposing the two appellations, has more harmony and complexity than the Côte de Brouilly. The standout from Jean Foillard is the Morgon Côte du Py, though readers should not overlook the Fleurie despite the vines suffering grillure in recent years.” 91 Neal Martin, Vinous.com, May 2023

Jean Foillard Morgon Côte du Py 2021, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais
“The 2021 Morgon Côte du Py, matured in used barrels, has a more complex bouquet than the Corcelette: a melange of red and black fruit, potpourri/lavender, and a faint hint of curry leaf that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and a fine backbone considering the growing season. This is very fresh and saline with quite a strict finish. You could attempt this now though I would be intrigued to age this for another two or three years before broaching. One of the original ‘Gang of Four’ disciples, Foillard is rightly esteemed as one of the leading Beaujolais producers, which is not reflected in market prices. Few wines represent better value than this. I have visited the Domaine several times over the years. Jean Foillard Morgon Les Charmes Eponym 2021, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais
"Foillard's Morgon Eponym comes from the Charmes lieu-dit, one of the highest parcels in the appellation. In contrast to the grandiose, deeply structured Côte du Py and silky-smooth Corcelette, this cuvée features a bit more crunch with lots of bright acidity and a leaner, more mineral profile. It nonetheless shares the satin texture of all Foillard Morgons, and should age similarly well for those willing and able to wait." Importer Notes

Louis Claude Desvignes Morgon Javernieres 2020, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais
"The 2020 Morgon Côte du Py Javernières is brilliant, unwinding in the glass with aromas of wild berries, spices, rose petals, loamy soil and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with impressive reserves of ripe tannin and sapid fruit, it's seamless and lively, concluding with a long, resonant finish. As ever, this is built to age, and it will reward patience, even if its youthful charms are considerable." 94+ Points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate
"Interestingly, the 2020 Javernières is a full point lower in listed octane than the Côte du Py in this vintage, coming in at 13.5 percent alcohol. These vines are forty years of age and planted in the vineyard’s deeper, clay and iron-veined soils. The bouquet is truly stunning this year, offering up complexity, purity and a subtle sense of sappiness that is bound to grow as the wine blossoms. It delivers scents of red and black cherries, pomegranate, a touch of red plum, gamebird, woodsmoke, a complex base of soil tones and delicate topnote of fresh thyme. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and full, with a great core of fruit, superb soil undertow, excellent complexity, ripe, fine-grained tannins and a long, tangy and perfectly focused finish. This is a young wine, but so beautifully balanced that it is already very tasty, though the structure starts to build a bit on the backend with extended air. Ten years down the road this wine will really be reaching its apogee of peak drinkability, but it seems likely that it will be too tempting in its youth to not see many bottles gobbled down in the coming few years. Great young Morgon." 94+ John Gilman

Beausejour Duffau Lagarosse 2014, 0.75L
Merlot/Cabernet Franc from St. Emilion, Bordeaux
"An utterly spellbinding wine, the 2014 Beauséjour Héritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse is also one of the unqualified successes of the vintage. Beams of tannin give the 2014 its ample, broad feel. Inky red cherry, blueberry, smoke, leather and tobacco fill out the wine's big frame effortlessly. Layers of intense fruit meld into a huge spine of tannin in a vertical, massively structured Saint-Émilion. So many 2014s are charming and accessible, but this is not one of them. Readers will have to be patient." 97 Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Vinous.com, Feb 2017
The 2014 Château Beausejour Duffau-Lagarrosse is fabulous stuff and well worth seeking out. Made from close to 100% Merlot (there’s a splash of Cabernet Franc) and offering classic notes of damp earth, tobacco leaf, blackcurrants, and beautiful minerality, this beauty hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a terrific core of fruit, and more texture and opulence than most in the vintage. Brane-Cantenac 2020, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc / Petit Verdot from Margaux, Bordeaux
"The 2020 Brane-Cantenac was picked September 14–28 and includes 13% vin de presse. It has exactly the same blend as last year since Henri Lurton and his team did not limit the Grand Vin to the 30-hectare plateau, a similar approach to Pichon-Baron when they reorganized their own vineyard. I allowed my sample an hour to open (during which I was discussing the wine with Lurton over Zoom). It has a beautifully defined bouquet of blackberry, wild hedgerow, fresh mint and light bay leaf scents. I have sometimes found a little greenness on the nose, but there is none in 2020. The palate is very well balanced with finely chiseled, precise tannins and beautifully judged acidity. Harmonious and poised, this is an absolutely fantastic Brane-Cantenac, in my mind superior to the previous two vintages, exuding wonderful mineralité on the finish. A must-buy." 95-97 Points Neal Martin, Vinous

Chateau Leoville-Barton 2017, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc from St. Julien, Bordeaux
"Léoville-Barton is one of the very few wines, from any appellation, that combines power and finesse with such grace in 2017. Rich, deep and wonderfully expressive, the 2017 has so much offer. The high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon comes through loud and clear. Inky dark, fruit, game, spice, mint, licorice and lavender all build in a wine of regal elegance and head spinning beauty. For its combination of quality and price, Léoville-Barton remains one the most consumer-friendly wines of the Left Bank. The blend is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot. The September rains were especially challenging for the Merlot and Cabernet Franc. As a result, Cabernet is pushed up in the blend, while there is no Franc at all. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berry fruit, cigar wrapper, licorice and espresso roast, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with terrific concentration, lively acids and plenty of ripe, powdery tannin that will reward a bit of bottle age. It's closed with an Ardeaseal technical cork as used by Burgundy's Domaine Ponsot among others. This estate merits a mention in any list of Bordeaux's finest under-the-radar producers." 92+ William Kelley, Wine Advocate
"The 2019 Clos Manou has a ripe, extroverted bouquet of black cherries, mulberry, rose petal and slight confit aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy ripe tannins, fleshy and generous. The smooth, spicy, voluminous finish is irresistible. Can I say "yummy" in a professional note? Yummy. (Drink between 2024-2035)" 92 Neal Martin, Vinous.com

Domaine de Cambes 2020, 0.75L
Merlot / Cabernet Franc / Malbec from Côtes de Bourg, Bordeaux
"The 2020 Domaine de Cambes is a gorgeous, luxuriously deep wine done in Francois Mitjavile's gently oxidative, concentrated style. Sumptuous black cherry, plum, chocolate, espresso and licorice all meld together. Pliant and supple, with generous fruit, Domaine de Cambes is so expressive today. Like many 2020s, it is a bit tight, but that should not be an issue in another few years' time. The purity of the flavors is compelling." 94 Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"Coming from the Côtes-de-Bourg appellation on the Right Bank and an estate owned the Mitjavile family of Le Tertre-Rôteboeuf , the 2020 Domaine de Cambes is another beautiful wine from this team that has a singular style. Redcurrants, plums, mulled cherries, spicy oak, cigar, and chocolate notes define the bouquet, and it's medium to full-bodied, with supple, soft tannins and a great finish. It's a softer, more approachable wine compared to the more structured Roc de Cambes, although both are brilliant wines." 93 Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com
"Expressive aromas of blackberries, violets and sweet spices preface the 2020 Domaine de Cambes, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine that's rich and demonstrative, its generous core of fruit framed by fine, chalky tannins." 92 William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Domaine de Chevalier 2015, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Petit Verdot from Pessac Leognan, Bordeaux
"One of the stars of the vintage, the 2015 Domaine de Chevalier has turned out even better than I expected. Bright floral notes give striking aromatic lift to the rich, sumptuous fruit. A marvelously complete wine, the 2015 is racy and silky on the palate, yet also has tremendous freshness. Bright red cherry, blood orange, white pepper, spice and dried flowers build into the super-expressive finish. The 2015 has been nothing less than stunning the three times I have tasted it so far. This is a tremendous showing from proprietor Olivier Bernard and his team. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Tasted three times." 97 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Gazin 2014, 0.75L
Merlot from Pomerol, Bordeaux
"The soy-sauce and savory aromas really make this stand out, but behind it are some very nice fruit and elegant tannins. This is a very well-made modern Pomerol with a lot of potential that needs some time to reveal its full class. Give it five or six years of bottle age." 95 James Suckling
"The 2014 Gazin was stubborn and broody when tasted in bottle, but give it a few swirls and there comes forth gravel and black truffle scents alongside sultry black fruit. These aromatics are so engaging and involving, drawing you in towards it charms. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp and taut with great precision and sappiness towards the focused, almost symmetrical, black truffle-laced finish. This continues Gazin's fine run of form, a great Pomerol from an estate predisposed these days to create sophisticated, classic wines." 94 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate

Haut Batailley 2017, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Pauillac, Bordeaux
"The 2017 Haut-Batailley is powerful, dark and racy. Dark cherry, gravel, smoke, menthol, licorice and spice all pulse with notable energy and tons of Cabernet Sauvignon savoriness. For such a big wine, Haut-Batailley has quite a bit of nuance, but it is the sense of vibrancy here that is compelling. (Drink between 2022-2042)" 94 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous

Haut Segottes St. Emilion 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Franc / Merlot from St. Emilion, Bordeaux
Tradition reigns at Haut-Ségottes. Harvest is manual. Fermentation takes place in cuve. Wines are rotated into barrel for an “elevage” of approximately 18 months. Approximately 20% of the barrels are new. Wines are bottled unfiltered. Although the majority of the vineyards are planted to Merlot (see above), the ultimate cuvée bottled as Chateau Haut Segottes Saint Emilion Grand Cru features a majority of Cabernet Franc. This dominance of Cabernet Franc (frequently on the order of 65%) produces a wine of considerable structure and is exceptionally age-worthy. We purchase 10,000 bottles per annum for sale in the USA. Haut-Bailly II 2019, 0.75L
Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon from Pessac Leognan, Bordeaux
"Wow, dark berries and violets on the nose, so sensuous, smells rich and round. Beautifully fresh on the palate, there is a real zing and burst of red fruit juiciness but also a lovely cooling freshness straight from the start. Almost has a blue fruit touch but there's strawberries, raspberries and red cherries too. Smooth tannins with a gently chalky grip that coat the mouth giving structure and body. So linear and straight yet also layered, nothing is too overt or in your face - precise and really elegant. I love this - gentle and well presented. Excellent. A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. (Drink b0etween 2024-2039)" 94 Georgia Hindle, Decanter
"Pine, currant and crushed-stone aromas with some walnuts, berries and orange peel. Full-bodied with round, fine tannins and excellent length. Compact and very fine. Lovely length. Seamless. 60% merlot and 40% cabernet sauvignon. Try from 2025." 94 James Suckling

La Chenade Lalande de Pomerol 2020, 0.75L
Merlot / Cabernet Franc from Lalande de Pomerol, Bordeaux
"Aromas of orange peel, black berries, flint and spice follow through to a medium to full body, with firm and racy tannins and a pretty finish. Drink or hold." 93 James Suckling
"Made from Merlot grapes picked between the 9th and the 15th of September and Cabernet Franc grapes picked on the 16th of September, the 2020 La Chenade expresses a vibrant and elegant bouquet with aromas of dark berries, violet, rose, dark cherries and graphite. Medium to full-bodied, it’s a juicy and elegant wine with a fleshy core of fruit and a fresh finish. As usual, this estate has produced excellent red wine from sandy-gravel soils." 92+ Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate
"The 2020 La Chenade was very promising when I originally tasted it from barrel. In bottle since May, it has developed a lovely nose with melted red berry fruit, wild mint and light fennel scents. Nicely delineated and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. Extremely pure, very harmonious, this Lalande-de-Pomerol discretely crescendos towards its very satisfying, quite structured finish. Superb." 92 Neal Martin, Vinous

La Dame de Malescot 2018, 0.75L

"This is so drinkable and pretty with fine tannins, as well as currant, spice, cedar and light chocolate aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied and very fine-tannined with a long and persistent finish. Second wine of Malescot. Just a couple of years of bottle age will make it all the more attractive to drink. Try after 2023." 93 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com

La Dame de Montrose 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Cabernet Franc / Merlot / Petit Verdot from St. Estephe, Bordeaux
"The Merlots were so good this year that most have gone into the first wine, giving this a higher percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon than usual and making it a serious Dame de Montrose, with clear ageing potential. Elegant and balanced, with purity and juicy black fruits. It has that savoury Cabernet quality which is very Médocain, this is absolutely one to look out for, packed with estate signature. 30% new oak. 43% of total production. 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Lovely new label here also, with rose gold roses across it. (Drink between 2025-2040)" 94 Jane Anson, Decanter Magazine

La Gravette de Certan 2018, 0.75L
Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon from Pomerol, Bordeaux
"Currant, chocolate, wet-earth and cedar aromas follow through to a medium to full body with integrated, refined tannins that build on the palate and follow through in a polished way. Give it three or four years to open, as it seems rather tight. Almost all merlot with some cabernet sauvignon. Try after 2025." 95 James Suckling, Jamessuckling.com, Mar 2021
"The second wine of this beautiful estate certainly doesn't taste like a second wine, and the 2018 La Gravette De Certan certainly put a smile on my face. Based on 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in 50% new barrels, it has the same supple, seamless, sexy style of the Grand Vin, only with the volume turned down slightly. Redcurrants, truffle, tobacco, hints of chocolate, and damp earth all emerge on the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful core of sweet fruit, silky tannins, and a great finish. It can be drunk today or cellared for 15 years or more." 94 Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com
"The 2018 La Gravette de Certan is a gorgeous second wine. Pliant, creamy and so expressive, La Gravette is everything a second wine should be. Juicy dark cherry fruit, spice, licorice, new leather and lavender fill out the layers effortlessly. No, the 2018 is not quite the 2016, but it's close." 92 Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Vinous.com

Lafon-Rochet 2018, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc / Petit Verdot from St. Estephe, Bordeaux
"The 2018 Lafron-Rochet is such a classy wine. Power and finesse meld together in this Saint-Estephe that is gorgeous, right from the very first taste. Black cherry, herbs, leather, licorice an dried flowers all build in the glass. In 2018, Lafron-Rochet is richer and bolder than it usually is, and yet all the elements are so nicely balanced. I would give it a few years in the cellar to allow some of the baby fat to melt away. " 94 Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2021

Lions de Suduiraut 2013, 0.750L

"This is already very complex with tobacco, blackberries and hints of cedar. It’s medium-bodied with firm and layered tannins. Juicy and so delicious. It can age, too." 94 James Suckling
"Dark ruby garnet color with purple highlights and subtle brightening at the rim. Delicate liquorice, ripe red cherry fruit, some cassis, and candied orange zest in the background.
