32 Winds Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2018, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, California

"Moving to the Pinot Noirs, the base appellation 2018 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast was 60% destemmed and spent 11 months in 20% new French oak. This gorgeous Pinot Noir displays lots of red and black raspberry fruits, notes of forest floor, smoked earth, and a touch of graphite. With medium-bodied richness, a solid spine of acidity, building tannins, and straight-up beautiful balance, it's going to benefit from another year or two of bottle age and keep for a decade. It's beautifully done." 94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2020

32 Winds Platt Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, California

"Slightly more expensive, the single vineyard 2018 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard spent 17 months in 20% new barrels. It's a bigger wine, with a touch more mid-palate density and depth, yet it still has plenty of underlying structure and tannic grip, offering up lots of redcurrant and darker cherry fruit as well as curing spices, smoke, and foresty, earthy notes. Give this rocking effort 2-4 years of bottle age and enjoy over the following decade or more. This beauty strikes a good balance between Old World and New World." 95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2020

A Tribute to Grace Grenache Morro Vineyard 2019, 0.75L
Grenache from Edna Valley, California

"The 2019 Grenache Morro View Vineyard offers tons of immediacy and sheer appeal. The decision to destem all the fruit worked so well here. Forward, bold and racy, the Morro View is one of the many compelling wines in this lineup. Red/purplish berry fruit, blood orange, spice and mint are all kicked up. The Morro View is one of the more resonant, ample wines in this range. (Drink between 2024-2034)" 94 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

A Tribute to Grace Grenache Santa Barbara County 2021, 0.75L
Grenache from Santa Barbara County, California

"The Santa Barbara County Grenache was inspired by Fonsalette from Chateau Rayas. The wine represents two very different microclimates. The first vineyard is the Highlands with 3200 feet elevation. The second vineyard is Curtis which is tucked away in Foxen Canyon. The fruit was destemmed and each lot was fermented separately and aged for 16 months in neutral French oak. The resulting wine is elegantly structured and focused, and is an excellent introduction to Angela’s style." Producer Notes

Accendo Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"Accendo's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is every bit as alluring as it was from barrel. Plush and sensual, with no hard edges, the 2019 possesses magnificent balance from start to finish. Dark-fleshed fruit, spice, leather, tobacco and menthol build as this sumptuous, racy Cabernet shows off its tremendous charm. Best of all, the 2019 offers quite a bit of immediacy. I would choose to drink it ahead of some of the more structured recent vintages. As always, the Accendo Cabernet is a blend of several top sites in Napa Valley. The nose is wonderfully perfumed, offering scents of red roses, Ceylon tea and licorice over a core of warm cassis, blueberry compote and kirsch with a touch of tilled soil. Full-bodied, ripe and juicy in the mouth, it has a velvety texture and a spicy kick to the finish. 795 cases were made."  93 Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate

Anthill Farms Cabernet Sauvignon Timbercrest Farms 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley, California

"Dark red/purple color. This Cabernet Sauvignon is sensual and nuanced, with tremendous textural finesse. Time in the glass brings out a range of black currant, dark blossoms, cedar, warm soil, and spice box aromas. Unlike many California Cabernets, the flavors are nuanced rather than obtuse. They span out across the palate effortlessly, making drinking now a joy with just a little air. Folded tannins and integrated acidity will allow the Timbercrest to easily age and improve for a decade or more. This is only the second vintage of this wine—the first from 2007 still sings when the cork is pulled. 13.8% abv." Producer Notes, Anthill Farms

Arietta Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is brilliant. Deep purple-hued, with incredible cassis and blueberry fruit as well as tobacco, graphite, damp earth, leather, and violets, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a round, layered, seamless texture, ultra-fine tannins, and a great, great finish. This tour de force is going to evolve gracefully for 30 years or more. It's one of the finest wines I've tasted from this estate."98 Points, Jeb Dunnuck

"Arietta's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is outstanding. It will require a number of years to be at its most expressive and for the bouquet to fully open, but all of that potential is there. Deep, layered and so well balanced, the 2019 is impressive right out of the gate. There is so much to look forward to. Inky dark fruit and a whole range of cooler-climate mineral/savory notes typical of Coombsville punctuate the huge, redolent finish." 96 Points, Antonio Galloni

"The 2018 Red Blend H Block is a blend of 56% Cabernet Franc and 44% Merlot, co-fermented. Like all of the wines from Hudson, the H Block possesses striking aromatic complexity to match its mid-weight personality. Dried cherry, herbs, iron, tobacco and smoke are some of the many aromas and flavors that grace this wonderfully expressive red wine. Bright acids and clean, minerally notes frame this exquisite red from Arietta. (Drink between 2023-2028) " 95 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Arietta Merlot Hudson Vineyard 2019, 0.75L
Merlot from Carneros, California

"Always a standout from this winning combination of site and producer, this is a 100% varietal vineyard-designate, from the cool landscape of Carneros. Rainier cherry, cassis and a dusting of baking spice highlight a seamless body of integrated tannin and oak, the wine offering power but also enduring elegance. While enjoyable now, it will benefit from further aging; enjoy best 2029–2039" 97, Wine Enthusiast

The 2019 Merlot Hudson Vineyards is packed with dark plum fruit, chocolate and a whole range of cool-climate savory notes that add complexity as well as nuance. The Hudson Merlot is one of the most distinctive wines in Napa Valley, but it needs cellaring to be at its best. These are the oldest vines on Lee Hudson's property. Arnot-Roberts Syrah 2022, 0.75L
Syrah from California, California

"Our 2022 Syrah is a gorgeous example of the variety, coming from some of the best Syrah vineyards in California. The backbone for the wine is the Rancho Arroyo Grande vineyard in the San Luis Obispo Coast appellation, making up just over half the blend. This cool and windy site is located about 7 miles from the ocean, yielding beautiful spicy fruit. The rest of the blend is composed of Syrah from our Sonoma Coast sites: Baker Lane, Solas Vineyard and Clary Ranch. All of the vineyards were harvested at perfect maturity and fermented whole cluster with native yeasts, before blending and aging in neutral oak barrels, along with 30% aging in concrete tank and 10% in French oak foudre. The final blend is deeply aromatic and saturated in color and flavor. This Syrah is supple and delicious allowing it to drink well in its youth." Producer Notes

Barnett Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Spring Mountain District 2021, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Spring Mountain District, California

"Barnett's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain District is more complex and structured than the MMV bottling yet also less expensive. Sage and bay leaf join black cherries and a hint of vanilla on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is soft and easy drinking but with decent backbone and length and plentiful soft, dusty tannins on the finish. Bedrock Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2018, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County, California

"Bedrock Wine Company is the brainchild of Morgan Twain-Peterson, the son of Joel Peterson of Ravenswood Vineyards fame. His Sonoma County bottling of cabernet sauvignon is a blend of casks from the Monticello and Monte Rosso Vineyards (adorned with a bit more production from the less well-known vineyard of Lichau Hill). It was raised in around fifteen percent new wood and comes in listed at 14.5 percent octane. The wine offers up a deep and classy bouquet of red and black cherries, tobacco leaf, a lovely base of soil, roses and a hint of new oak. On the palate the wine is bright, ripe and full-bodied, with a fine core of fruit, firm, well-integrated tannins and a long, nascently complex and slightly warm finish. This is good juice ..." 90, John Gilman, View From The Cellar #87, Jun 2020

Bevan Cellars Syrah Sonoma Mountain 2019, 0.75L

It bursts from the glass with notes of bouquet garni, roasted beef and baked plums with hints of blackberry preserves and potpourri with a waft of garrigue. Big Basin Vineyards Syrah Rattlesnake Rock 2016, 0.75L
Syrah from Santa Cruz Mountains, California

"The 2016 Syrah Rattlesnake Rock is a powerful wine. Red fruit, iron, chalk, white pepper, game and incisive tannins give the 2016 a real feeling of drive that distinguishes it in the range. This is an especially mineral-driven, savory, taut Syrah, with all the elements in the right place. Dried herbs, licorice and crushed flowers add aromatic intrigue. It will be interesting to see if the 2016 gains a bit more volume in bottle. It is such a promising wine. The Côte-Rôtie selection Syrah from John Alban works so well here." 94 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"From the home estate in the Santa Cruz Moutains, the 2016 Syrah Rattlesnake Rock is a firm, mineral-laced, yet concentrated and textured Syrah that's going to benefit from bottle age. Red and black fruits, spiced meat, bacon fat, and dried flower notes are just some of its nuances. A concentrated, classic mountain Syrah, it needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will cruise . . ." 94+ Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2016 Rattlesnake Rock bottling of syrah from Big Basin is one of their estate vineyard bottlings, as these vines were planted in 2000 in this windy parcel that sits between thirteen hundred and fourteen hundred feet above sea level. The 2016 version includes one-third whole clusters, was fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for twenty-one months in used, three hundred liter barrels. The cépages here includes two percent of viognier that was co-fermented with the syrah. The wine comes in at 13.9 percent octane and offers up a deep and properly reserved bouquet of cassis, black raspberry, grilled meats, pepper, a touch of black olive, fine stony soil tones and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and rock solid at the core, with a superb core of fruit, firm, ripe tannins and outstanding balance and grip on the long, nascently complex and very, very promising finish. There is a strong vein of iron in the soils here and this really comes across on the backend here. This is outstanding syrah in the making, with plenty of structure and outstanding depth of fruit. Think of old school Hermitage with a different, stony soil signature." 93 John Gilman, View From The Cellar

Ceritas Pinot Noir Hellenthal Vineyard Old Shop Block 2015, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, California

"The 2015 Pinot Noir Hellenthal Vineyard Old Shop Block is another gorgeous wine from Ceritas. Supple, radiant and giving, the 2015 is endowed with striking purity and nuance. Soft, silky tannins and plush, red-toned fruit give the 2015 an element of sensuality that is absolutely irresistible. Blood orange, mint and pomegranate brighten the finish beautifully. The Old Shop Block emerges from a parcel of own-rooted, Calera clone Pinot and was done with 60% whole clusters. My visit with John Raytek at Ceritas was one of the highlights of my January tastings. The 2015s are off the charts great. Raytek clearly picked early, as the wines are endowed with tremendous energy and tension, the early-ripening vintage notwithstanding. These energetic, chiseled Chardonnays and Pinots will appeal most to readers who appreciate focus and delineation in wine." 95 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Chanin Syrah Schock Family Vineyard 2018, 0.75L
Syrah from Santa Barbara County, California

"This is a cooler-climate Syrah done with the light touch of a Pinot Noir master. The nose is extremely peppery, reminiscent of a tour through a Tellicherry peppercorn factory, yet with tart cranberry, rust and soil elements as well. The palate is immensely grippy with more white pepper as well as charcoal and brisk red-fruit flavors. It will also cellar very well." 95 Points Matt Kettmann, Wine Enthusiast

"The 2018 Syrah Schock Family Vineyard is Gavin Chanin's first Syrah, and it is fabulous. Deep and rich, but not at all heavy, the 2018 has so much to offer. Readers will have to be patient, as the 2018 is an embryonic wine at this stage. What comes across is the wine's exceptional balance and harmony. Time will be needed for Syrah aromatics to emerge." 94 Points Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon Signature 2014, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9/% Petit Verdot and the rest Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, is a classic example of Pritchard Hill, Chappellet and of Napa Valley. Brilliant purity, a dense purple color, superb blackberry and floral-infused blueberry fruit and cassis, a full-bodied mouthfeel, moderate but sweet tannin and a long, layered, texture and finish make for a profound Cabernet Sauvignon that actually sells at a bargain price for what is in the bottle. Moreover, look for it to evolve graciously for another 20+ years. Chappellet is the pioneer that, in the last 1960s, first began planting vineyards on what is now one of the hottest viticultural regions of Napa Valley – Pritchard Hill. Even though Pritchard Hill isn’t entitled to an AVA, there is no question that the 15 or 16 wineries are up there are producing world-class wines, and it all started with the efforts of Molly and Don Chappellet in the late 1960s. The 1969 Cabernet Sauvignon they made with the help of Philip Togni remains one of the greatest Napa Cabernet Sauvignons I have ever tasted, and is still vigorous at age 47." 94+ Robert M. Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon Signature 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Malbec / Petite Verdot / Merlot from Napa Valley, California

"This is very complex, with blackcurrants, tobacco and cedar. Some sandalwood and terra-cotta, too. Medium-to full-bodied with ultra-fine tannins that are creamy-textured and so long and pure. Attractive and complex. 77% cabernet sauvignon with petit verdot, malbec and merlot. So good now to drink, but will age beautifully. Drink or hold." 95, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com

"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature is a terrific wine and a big overachiever in its price range. Black cherry, plum, mocha, lavender, spice, licorice and new leather lend tons of complexity to this bold, luscious Cabernet. This overt, upfront Cabernet offers plenty of near and medium-term appeal." 93, Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com

"Always a smoking value that readers shouldn't miss, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature sports a dense purple color to go with beautiful cassis and blueberry-like fruits as well as bouquet garni, spice, and obvious, rocky mineral-like aromas and flavors. Rich and medium to full-bodied, with notable structure and good acidity, it's going to keep for two decades in cold cellars. It's a candidate for the best Napa Cabernet under $100." 94 Jeb Dunnuck

Colgin Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill 2017, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena, California

"The berries at Tychson Hill vineyard were very small in 2017. “This wine totally required baby steps with the extraction,” said winemaker Allison Tauziet. Very deep purple-black in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard leaps from the glass with vibrant black cherries, warm blackberries and blackcurrant scents with hints of violets, dark chocolate, lavender and camphor plus a fragrant waft of rose hip tea. Medium to full-bodied, the structure is taut, restraining all the tightly packed, energetic black fruit layers, with a wonderfully fine-grained texture and bags of freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. Still very tightly wound, this one needs time, but it should handsomely reward patience." 98, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate, Oct 2019

Colgin Proprietary Red Cariad 2013, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc / Petit Verdot from Napa Valley, California

"The 2013 Cariad Proprietary Red Wine, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot, shows great intensity, with a slightly more burning ember and scorched earthiness to it, giving it a more Graves-like character compared to the purity of the Tychson Hill. The wine is full-bodied, rich, layered and possibly slightly more tannic and backward than the Tychson Hill, but that could be because it had recently been bottled. "Deep purple-black in color, it hits the ground running with an intense nose of red and black currant preserves, lilacs, baker's chocolate, and graphite, leading to an undercurrant of black olives and red loam. On the medium to full-bodied palate it is very lively, grainy and super-concentrated, finishing long and shimmery.”  98-100, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, The Wine Independent

“This is so aromatic with blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, iron, pine bark and orange peel. Hints of wild sage and peppermint. Seductive perfumes. Corison Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos Vineyard 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena, California

"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos Vineyard is very clearly one of the wines of the vintage. One of the things I love about the 2019 is the way it conveys power and density, but without weight. In that sense, it is perhaps atypical for Napa Valley Cabernets in this vintage. Even so, I find the sense of beauty here absolutely beguiling. The 2019 Kronos is an absolutely stunning wine. I could describe the aromas and flavors, but that seems pretty banal for a wine that is so clearly towering in its splendor. Don't miss it. Cathy Corison’s 2019s are superb. It’s hard to imagine that a producer with such a long and distinguished track record could still find an extra gear, but Corison has. 2019 was the first year in which farming was entirely brought in-house, and that seems to have made a difference. The devil is in the details, as they say. Corison describes 2019 as warmer than 2018, especially in the critical months of August and September, with lower yields overall." 98 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"Bright medium ruby. Knockout ineffable nose combines blackberry, blueberry, flowers, minerals, spicecake, iron and miso. Silky-sweet and highly concentrated, conveying an almost candied quality to its blueberry, blackberry and espresso flavors but energized by almost shockingly bright acidity. With its outstanding density and refined texture, this is clearly the product of a great site. Dehlinger Pinot Noir Altamont 2017, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley, California

"The 2017 Pinot Noir Altamont is a wine of real breadth. Dark cherry, plum, lavender, spice and hard candy all flesh out in the glass. Rich, plush and enveloping, the Altamont captures all of the natural intensity of the year. A touch of stems adds character, but is not especially evident." 93 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Di Costanzo Farella Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Coombsville, California

“Here in its third vintage, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is just starting to come into its own, with pretty notes of red cherry, pomegranate, rose petal and licorice. The aromatics show the first signs of maturity, yet bright acids and pure fruit suggest another decade or so of fine drinking lies ahead. This is a pretty effort from Erin and Massimo Di Costanzo's early days. (Drink between 2022-2032).” 93, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2024

"A tribute to Silver Oak co-founder Ray Duncan, Timeless Napa Valley is a proprietary red blend from our Soda Canyon Ranch vineyard nestled in the southeastern hills of the Napa Valley. Decades of experience at this unique site allow winemaker Nate Weis and team to highlight the individual merits of each block. Combining the strongest lots from each resulted in a refined and harmonious bottling. Dunn Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvingon from Howell Mountain, California

"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is outrageously beautiful. A wine of extraordinary purity, the 2019 dazzles right out of the gate. The tannins are nearly silky for a young Howell Mountain Cabernet. Red/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, rose petal and pomegranate all build in this sumptuous, explosive Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2019 is one of the most elegant Cabernets I have tasted here, and that is saying something What a wine." 98 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

Mourvèdre / Grenache / Syrah from Paso Robles, California

"The 2019 Veracity shows nicely, with ample red, blue, and black fruits as well as ground pepper, candied orange, and violet aromas. Full-bodied, rich, and concentrated on the palate, this blend of 44% Mourvèdre, 43% Grenache, and the rest Syrah has lots of classic Paso Robles chalky minerality, ripe tannins, and one heck of a great finish. Epoch is another top estate in Paso Robles that has seen incredible growth and change over the past decade. Now in a new facility on York Mountain, winemaker Jordan Fiorentini continues to experiment with new blends as well as different fermentation vessels, also using a touch more whole cluster at times. Epoch Estate Syrah Block B Paderewski Vineyard 2018, 0.75L
Syrah from Willow Creek District, California

"The 2018 Block B Syrah was aged for 19 months in 82% new French oak puncheons and barrels. Deep ruby-purple, it's classy and defined, with aromas of black and blueberry jam, violet, milk chocolate, fried herbs and coffee beans. The full-bodied palate's youthfully concentrated fruits are supported by an abundance of silky tannins and offers notable freshness that lifts the finish. Beautiful now, it will benefit from another 3-5 years in bottle. 636 cases were made." 96 Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Nov 2021

"More iron, ground pepper, charred meats, and tapenade notes emerge from the 2018 Syrah Block B, a rich, powerful, yet focused and elegant Syrah that does everything right. Offering plenty of chalky minerality, ripe, building tannins, and a great finish, this brilliant Syrah will keep for at least a decade. The wine is 100% Syrah that was mostly destemmed (28% whole clusters) and spent 19 months in 82% new French oak."96 Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com, Sept 2021

Forman Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

“A brooding and nuanced bouquet of red and black fruit, petroleum jelly, woodsmoke, bitter cocoa, truffle and violet leads into a supple, elegant palate with fine savoury tannins and juicy acidity. Balanced, sapid and sophisticated. (Drink between 2018-2040).”  96, William Kelley, Decanter, May 2017

“A weightless, translucent wine, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon exudes class. Vibrant and finely sculpted, the 2014 possesses striking nuance from start to finish. Scents of lavender, rose petal, mint and sweet spice notes give the 2014 its brightness and sense of energy. Today, the 2014 is a bit compact relative to how it showed from barrel. I expect the wine will put on a bit more weight during its aging. Readers should plan on cellaring the 2014 at least a few years. Even today, though, the 2014 is a very pretty and pure wine.” 95+, Antonio Galloni, Oct 2016

“The softer, more sexy and up-front style of the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon makes it already drinking and appealing. Deep ruby/purple, with notes of black and red currants, cedar, licorice and forest, the wine has terrific fruit, medium to full body, ripe, well-integrated tannins and adequate acidity. Drink it over the next 15 or so years.” 93+, Robert M. Parker, Jr. , Wine Advocate, Oct 2016

Hall Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"Primarily from the Hardester Ranch in Pope Valley, with other major contributions from St. Helena, Soda Canyon and Glass Mountain, it's a medium to full-bodied effort, with bold flavors of cherries, cassis and cedar. It's easy, but not soft, nicely firm, with a long, silky-textured finish. Craig and Kathryn Hall Sacrashe-d onto the Napa Valley wine scene with the 1994 purchase of the Sacrashe property, at the eastern edge of the Rutherford AVA. Craig was a successful businessman; Kathryn's family had owned a vineyard in Mendocino when she was growing up. From 1997–2001, Kathryn served as U.S. ambassador to Austria, which put a brief hold on the couple's plans to expand their wine business, but in 2001, they purchased the property on Highway 29 that has become their signature attraction. Mike Reynolds came on board in 2002 as winemaker and has since been promoted to president; my extensive tasting visit was conducted with the winery's current vice president of winemaking, Megan Gunderson, who joined Hall in 2005 as an enologist." 90 Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate

Full-bodied, but with clean lift and without weight, it has dark berries, candied flowers, sweet, ripe tannins, and a soft texture. Hirsch Vineyards Pinot Noir Estate Raschen Ridge 2018, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, California

"An incredibly Burgundian bouquet of spiced tart cherry fruit as well as leafy herbs, forest floor, and damp earth emerge from the 2018 Pinot Noir Raschen Ridge. A medium-bodied, spicy, lively Pinot Noir, it has terrific overall balance, a bright spine of acidity, and outstanding length on the finish. It’s not a blockbuster by any stretch of the imagination, but I love its overall tension, it has remarkable balance, and it’s just loaded with charm. Give bottles 2-3 years of bottle age, and I would not put it past this wine to keep for 10-15+ years after that." 95+ Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2018 Pinot Noir Estate Raschen Ridge is rich, deep and explosive. In this vintage, the 2018 is so racy and expressive. Right out of the bottle, the Raschen Ridge is stellar. Crushed flowers, kirsch, red and purplish berry fruit and cedar all race out the glass. The interplay of fruit richness, power and structure is compelling. The 2018 needs a few years in bottle to unwind, but it is impressive." 95 Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"With ripe, succulent and velvety red fruits flavours, this is the most forward of Hirsch's 2018 Pinots. Herbal, beaming and energetic aromas continue from through to the long finish, which shows off persistent, elegant tannins. This expressive, livewire wine comes from high-density, 20-year-old vines at 480m – the highest elevation vineyards planted at Hirsch." 95 Matthew Luczy, Decanter Magazine

"Strawberry, fruit tea and a hint of tar on the nose. A full-bodied red with cherry, crushed flowers and stone. It’s firmly textured with integrated tannins. Very serious." 95 James Suckling

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon Estate 2018, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, California

"The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is packed with inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, new leather and licorice. Racy and voluptuous to the core, the 2018 is very easy to enjoy today. It will be even better in a few years' time, once the aromatics open a bit more. It's great to see the 2018 has the same mid-palate volume it had as a barrel sample, prior to bottling. This is a terrific showing."
