"Tasted as a barrel sample, the 2019 Syrah Domaine de Pierres comes from the Ancient Stones vineyard and was 100% whole-cluster fermented, offering a floral and lifted expression on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, the Syrah displays exotic dark fruit flavors with a firm, spicy and mineral essence. The palate is balanced, delineated and expressive, ending with a fine, tannic finish with lasting flavors of spiced black raspberry compote, umami and baked earth. Set to be released in September this year, this bottling will surely be one not to miss.
