A new cuvee for this estate and a blend of 60% Grenache and the rest a mix of Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault that comes from tiny yields of 22 hl/hectare, the 2010 Les Trois Sources delivers a decidedly mineral-drenched array of sweet plum, violets, black licorice, wild flowers, and hints of herbs on the nose. Perfumed, complex, and showing the estate’s hallmark freshness and purity, this full-bodied Châteauneuf-du-Pape is elegant and streamlined on the palate, with beautiful underlying concentration, ripe tannin, and a long finish. It will drink well for 10-12 years. |
