“Clos La Coutale is made up of Malbec and Merlot. The average yield of 45hl allows for good ripeness and consistent quality over the years. The vinification is done in temperature-controlled vats, the regular punching down allows a good extraction of the aromas and the fruit. The Clos La Coutale is then aged in barrels and wooden barrels and barrels for a year in order to obtain a good balance between tannins and fruit.” |
