Lot #17. Emmanuel Rouget Vosne-Romanée Cros Parantoux 2009

Description: Consists of 3 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 98 DC.
"This is absolute elegance. Its red color is clear yet bright and luminous and the aromas are dreamlike, ethereal, varied and complex. The bouquet is in perpetual motion and never ceases to amaze with new sensations that range from wild strawberry gelatin to ripe raspberry, from sweet spice (cinnamon, harlequin pepper and cloves) to wild mint and Lebanese cedar. The mouthfeel is mineral, consistent and with an unending persistence even when the glass is empty. An authentic cult wine in which lives the ‘true’ spirit of Uncle Henry Jayer, from whom he inherited his style and production philosophy." Daniele Cernilli, DoctorWine.it, Jul 2016
Provenance: The Sea Cliff Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $2,500
