. VM. "This liter bottling once again delivers consummate refreshment, impeccable balance and outstanding value. Fresh apple and white peach are laced with cooling mint, invigoratingly incisive cress, and sweaty, saliva-inducing salinity. At 12 percent alcohol, this is fuller than usual but still supplies some sense of lift in its lip-smacking finish. I know I sound like a broken record, but how unfortunate (and frankly, ultimately inexplicable) that this ostensibly intro-level bottling nowadays represents the sole Minges offering (save for occasional installments of their radical exercise in non-intervention, “Froschkönig”) that harbors more than 10 but fewer than 30 or more grams of residual sugar, and thus their sole offering to exhibit anything remotely like this wine’s sense of hidden sweetness, a trait that proves highly versatile at table."
