A restrained nose of relatively austere but ripe and spicy black fruit aromas slide into sappy, lush and opulent if still firmly structured medium-bodied flavors that finish with real verve and excellent length. I like the ample Vosne character though this is presently quite backward and will require a few more years for the flavors to really blossom. Allen Meadows, July 01, 2008 |
