Drouhin Oregon RoseRock Chardonnay 2023, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Eola - Amity Hills , Oregon
“The 2023 Chardonnay from the Drouhin family’s Roserock property is an excellent young wine, coming in at 14.1 percent alcohol in this vintage and offering vivid complexity on both the nose and palate. The bouquet hops from the glass in a lovely blend of pear, apple, hazelnut, a lovely foundation of soil, fruit blossoms and a discreet framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and nascently complex, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent soil undertow, zesty acids and impeccable balance on the long and bouncy finish. This is still fairly primary in personality on the palate and I would be inclined to keep my bottles in the cellar for three or four years, just to let the wine fully blossom on the palate. It is an excellent young chardonnay.” 92+, John Gilman, View From The Cellar, Nov 2024

Joseph Drouhin Vosne-Romanée 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy
“The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village, picked September 5 to 10, comes from several parcels, including declassified Premier Crus. The aromatics offer red cherries, boysenberry and a touch of menthol. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit. There are quite bold tannins, perhaps needing to muster more precision on the finish to rank amongst the best Vosne Villages. Give it a couple of years in bottle.” 88-90, Neal Martin, Vinous, Jan 2024

Joseph Drouhin Saint-Véran 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from St. Véran, Burgundy
“The 2022 Saint-Véran from Maison Joseph Drouhin is a lovely example of its appellation, and for the first time in more than a decade in the American market, the wine comes sealed under a natural cork this year! The wine is nicely ripe in the style of the vintage, coming in at 13.5 percent octane and offering up a beautifully generous and expressive nose of apple, nectarine, a lovely base of chalky soil tones, just a hint of almond, fruit blossoms and a very gentle framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is bright, focused and full-bodied, with a fine core of fruit, excellent soil undertow and grip, zesty acids and impeccable balance on the long and vibrant finish. Texturally, this wine is so much more pleasing now on the palate with its return to a natural closure. Fine juice.” 90, John Gilman, View From The Cellar, May 2024

Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Dundee Hills, Oregon
“The entry-level Willamette Valley bottling from Drouhin punches well above its weight class and is perfectly classic in style. Ripe and rustic aromatics of country bramble berries, dusty gravel and violets offer signature notes of the Dundee Hills. The palate is redolently fruited, with ripe strawberries, early-season blackberries and mouthfuls of country spice. Delightfully complex and compelling.” 94, Clive Pursehouse, Decanter, Jul 2024

Sylvain Cathiard Bourgogne Aligote 2023, 0.75L
Aligoté from Bourgogne, Burgundy
“The 2023 Bourgogne Aligoté was bottled in April. It has a clean and sharp bouquet—a little more malic, perhaps from the fruit located up in the Hautes-Côtes. The palate is well balanced, a little oily in texture, with fine acidity and a lighter, sour lemon- and ginger-tinged finish. Enjoy this over the next four or five years.” Neal Martin, Vinous, Jan 2025

Sylvain Cathiard Vosne Romanée 1er Cru 'En Orveaux' 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy
“The 2022 Vosne-Romanée En Orveaux 1er Cru has slightly darker, blacker fruit on the nose compared to the Aux Reignots, a heightened marine influence in the background - sea spray and hints of Japanese nori. The medium-bodied palate has firm tannins and more body than the Aux Reignots, with a grippy, quite intense finish. This will require 5-7 years in a cool cellar.” 93-95, Neal Martin, Vinous, Jan 2024
“Once again the nose is agreeably fresh and bright with its softly spicy array of red cherry, violet and wet stone. The wonderfully refined and lilting if not especially dense middleweight flavors that exude evident minerality on the firm, serious and youthfully austere finish. This is lovely and despite not being a monster of concentration, it's quite clear that this too is going to need extended keeping.” 91-94, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jan 2024

Sylvain Cathiard Vosne Romanée 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy
"The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village has a sensual bouquet with pure redcurrant and crushed strawberry fruit, just a touch of violet popping up with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied and well-balanced with rounded tannins. It’s a succulent Vosne-Romanée with a good body and a sustained finish. Recommended." 90-92, Neal Martin, Vinous, Jan 2024
“A very Vosne-like nose is comprised by notes of plum, violet, exotic spice and a whiff of jasmine tea. The caressing and seductively textured medium weight flavors tighten up on the dusty, firm and balanced finish that is already quite complex. Even so, this is sufficiently structured to need at least 5 years of keeping before it will be reasonably approachable.” 89-92, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jan 2024

Sylvain Cathiard Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits 'Aux Chaumes' 2022, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Bourgogne, Burgundy
"The 2022 Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Aux Chaumes, which comes from the border of the Vosne appellation, has a more elegant and refined bouquet compared to the regular bottling sans lieu-dit. The palate is well-structured with firm grip, a little drier and more sinewy in style with admirable length on the finish." 89-91, Neal Martin, Vinous, Jan 2024
“ A slightly more elegant nose freely offers up its combination of red cherry, raspberry and discreet spice nuances. There is both good richness and minerality to the delicious and vibrant middleweight flavors that possess a bit more overall depth on the balanced and youthfully austere finale. One to consider, especially if you like to age wines from the Hautes Côtes.” Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jan 2024

Finding it is difficult, but rewarding. This is our ninth bottling of Chenin Blanc from a small vineyard in St. Helena. Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon Lyndenhurst 2021, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena, California
“The second wine of this incredible estate, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lyndenhurst reveals a deep purple hue as well as a great nose of assorted currants, black cherries, tobacco, and lead pencil. It's beautifully concentrated, has medium to full-bodied richness, and ripe tannins, all making for an undeniably delicious, classic, balanced Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the coming 10-15 years.” 94, Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2023
“A juicy red with black currants and balsamic. Bark and mushroom. Iodine, too. Medium body, creamy texture that tightens at the end. An energy and firmness in the finish but remains so attractive. Savory. Hard not to drink now. So do, but will also age nicely.” 94, James Suckling, Nov 2023
“The non-estate 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lyndenhurst, like the estate bottling, is scheduled for release in September 2024. Including all five Bordeaux varieties and matured in 40% new French oak, it boasts classic scents of cassis, black cherries and some gentle cedary notes. It's medium to full-bodied, gently velvety but still firm, with a long, cool finish. It's more than $100 these days, but it still delivers a high-quality drinking experience.” 93, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Jul 2024

Montepeloso Gabbro IGT 2022, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Toscana IGT, Tuscany
“The 2022 Gabbro, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, is fabulous. In fact, it’s one of the finest versions of this wine I have tasted. More than anything, the 2022 suggests that the Tuscan Coast can produce wines of elegance and polish, even in torridly warm years, and even in its warmest micro-climates, if desired. Blue/black fruit, leather, lavender, espresso and dried herbs abound. The 2022 is beautiful today. I expect it will be even better in a few years’ time. It's an eye-opening wine, to be sure.” 96, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2024

Monastero Suore Cistercensi Coenobium 2023, 0.75L
White Blend from Lazio, Lazio
“Produced in an entirely natural manner under the guidance of Giampiero Bea, the Coenobium is a blend of Trebbiano, Verdicchio, and Malvasia, harvested together and co-fermented without added yeasts or temperature stabilization. Aged on its fine lees in steel and fiberglass tanks, it is bottled just before the next harvest without fining or filtering. The nose is evocative of autumn on multiple sensory levels, with aromas of fennel fronds, chamomile tea, almonds, and tangerine that lead into a full but delicately rendered palate. Vitorchiano’s volcanic soils come through with a somber smoke-iron interplay, and glowing acidity lets the savory flavors coat the mouth, yet the overall impression is one of freshness and drinkability.” Importer Notes

Marcel Lapierre Morgon N (Sans Soufre) 2023, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais
“The 2023 Morgon (Non-Sulphité) has a fresh and vibrant nose, a little more brightness than the SO2 bottling. This conveys a sense of coiled-up energy. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity and that same crunchy red fruit as the regular cuvée, but with a tad more flesh toward the finish. Lapierre told me that the brightness tends to disappear within six weeks, but nevertheless, this remains a magnificent Morgon.” 93, Neal Martin, Vinous, Apr 2024

Domaine de Fontsainte Gris de Gris Rosé 2023, 0.75L

Crocker & Starr Red Blend of Cabernet Franc 2021, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Napa Valley, California
“The 2021 Cabernet Franc A.V.A Red Blend checks in as 54% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Malbec that was aged 22 months in barrel. Spiced red plums, black cherries, damp flowers, and leather are just some of the nuances in this puppy, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a ripe, forward, charming style that's already hard to resist. I wouldn't push the aging curve, but I see no reason this shouldn't evolve gracefully for 8-10 years.” 93, Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2023
“The 2021 Red Blend of Cabernet Franc (Napa Valley) is 54% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Malbec. Bright, effusive aromatics meld into a core of black fruits, licorice, lavender and chocolate. Polished tannins wrap it all together in style.” 93, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2023

Cascina Baricchi Barbaresco Riserva Rose Delle Casasse 2018, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barbaresco, Piedmont
"The 2018 Barbaresco Riserva Rose delle Casasse offers lovely density and plenty of character. There's gorgeous depth in the mid-palate. Light fading at the edges and slight mature notes in the bouquet lead me to believe the 2018 will likely be more of a medium-term drinker, its notable presence notwithstanding. Tobacco, dried herbs, mint, leather, cinnamon and dried autumn leaves all develop with a bit of aeration. The 2018 is a gorgeous wine whose only shortcoming is that it tastes a bit older than it should." 93, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Oct 2024

Tenuta Sette Ponti 'Orma' 2022, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Bolgheri, Tuscany
"The cabernet sauvignon character comes through nicely in this red, particularly on the palate, with currants, both red and black, as well as dried flowers and cedar. Some lead pencil as well. Medium body, with polish, finesse and beauty. Lovely length and grace. This is a move towards better balance and energy for Orma. One to watch. A blend of mostly merlot with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc." 97, James Suckling, Aug 2024
“This wine always brings the finesse, with a medium intensity jewel-like colour and a clear focus on red fruits, raspberry, cranberry, touch of salinity brought by its location close to the sea, layered with dried roses, cassis bud, orange peel, savoury white pepper and mint leaf. Good quality and a clear Tuscan interpretation of the Bordeaux grapes, making this a wine to seek out. One year in bottle after barrel ageing before release. Clay, gravel and sand soils, vineyard located just 15m above sea level, Moretti Cuseri family, first vintage 2005. Heavy bottle a little incongruous.” 94, Jane Anson, Jul 2024

Cheval Des Andes 2021, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza
"Complex aromas of blueberries, pie crust, fresh flowers and currant bush with hints of baking spices like nutmeg. Medium- to full-bodied with extremely fine tannins that are integrated and gorgeous. Graceful and refined, with super length. Interestingly, 20% of the wine was aged in large oak casks (2,500 liters), mostly from Slovenia. Try after 2027 but a joy to taste now." 98, James Suckling, Feb 2024
“A wonderful Cheval des Andes, luscious, layered, nuanced, a kick of nutmeg spice, blueberry and damson fruits, salted cracker mouthwatering finish, with deftly-handled freshness the signature of a cooler vintage. Gérald Gabillet winemaker, joint venture between Cheval Blanc and Terrazas de los Andes. 70% new oak for ageing.” 97, Jane Anson, Jul 2024
“The 2021 Cheval des Andes is seductive and savory on the nose, leading with pure, earth-tinged aromas of pipe tobacco, turned soil, dried herbs and rich yet composed dark fruits. Exotic, dark spice notes and a pleasantly integrated framing of new oak accents appear with further aeration. The palate is deliciously supple and impressively layered, with a harmonious, long and ever-expanding finish that highlights extreme delicacy. The tannins are persistent yet composed, gently yet persistently lengthening the finish and melding nicely with the vibrant acidity underneath—a beautiful combination of savory charm, serious depth and focused intensity. It's a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Malbec and 3% Petite Verdot that spent an average of 12-13 months in 50% barrique, 30% demi-muid and 20% foudre.” 97, Matthew Luczy, Wine Advocate, Aug 2024
“The 2021 release of this iconic Mendoza blend partners Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot from Las Compuertas and Paraje Altamira. It’s a lighter, more forward wine than the 2020 or 2019 releases, reminiscent of the 2016 perhaps, with ethereal rose petal and mint aromas, subtle bramble and summer pudding flavours, sculpted tannins and more concentration and ageing potential than you think at first” 97, Tim Atkin, Jun 2024

Antinori Solaia 2021, 0.75L
Super Tuscan Blend from Toscana IGT, Tuscany
"Antinori's 2021 Solaia is another wine that captures all of the potential I sensed when I tasted it some months ago. More than anything else, the 2021 is a fine example of the style Antinori favors these days, an approach that favors finesse more than opulence. Dark plum, mocha, licorice, chocolate, spice, lavender and menthol build effortlessly in the glass. Oak and tannin are impeccably balanced. The 2021 spent 18 months in wood, three months in once-used barrels during the malolactic fermentation and then 15 months in 100% new barrels for the rest of its aging." 100, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jun 2024
“A deep, dense red, drenched with blackberry, pomegranate, plum and sweet spice flavors. Iron, tobacco and wild herb elements peek through as this plays out on the finish under a strong grip of tannins. Shows terrific balance and length now, yet this should only improve after a few more years in the bottle. Superb. Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2027 through 2047. 7,333 cases made, 634 cases imported.” 98, Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, Oct 2024

Carruades de Lafite 2015, 0.75L
Bordeaux Blend from Pauillac, Bordeaux
“Lead-pencil aromas with currants and plums, too. Full body, silky tannins and a focused and very refined finish. It's the tannins that drive things. An excellent second wine of Lafite. Needs two or three years to soften. Start drinking in 2021.” 94, James Suckling, Feb 2018
“The second wine of Lafite Rothschild is the 2015 Carruades De Lafite and is a beautiful wine in its own right. Based on 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc brought up mostly in used barrels, it has classy notes of cassis and lead pencil shavings as well as a medium to full-bodied, elegant, beautifully balanced style on the palate. It’s not a massive wine by any stretch, yet it exudes class and elegance, and is already a joy to drink.” 92, Jeb Dunnuck, Nov 2017
“A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc and aged for 18 months in barrels, 10% new, the 2015 Carruades de Lafite is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and just a little closed at this youthful stage, revealing delicate notes of red and black plums, black cherries and dried herbs plus touches of pencil lead, cedar chest and beef drippings. Medium-bodied, refreshing and with a well-played chewy texture, although just a baby in terms of evolution, it has an accessible structure, finishing long and savory.” 91, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Feb 2018

Dominio de Pingus Ribera del Duero PSI 2022, 0.75L
Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León
“The 2022 PSI is clean, expressive and open, much more approachable than the more reductive 2021 that I tasted next to it. It's primary, fruit-driven and precise. "The fruit selection was better in 2022," explained Sisseck. It has contained ripeness and a polished texture and is sleek and elegant, with fine tannins. It feels like a step up from 2021. This was also the final blend waiting to be bottled—clarified, sulfur added and everything, so pretty much the wine that is going to be bottled.” 93-95, Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, Jun 2024

It has pungent flavors and is powerful and ripe without excess at 14.5% alcohol and with polished chalky tannins. G. Conterno Barolo Francia 2020, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barolo, Piedmont
“Bright red pale in color, the 2020 Barolo Francia is gorgeous with a bit more structure and depth, though it remains elegant all the way through. Its ripe, pure notes of fresh cherries, roses, incense, and spice are followed by a medium-bodied red with structured, ripe tannins, energetic lift, and gorgeous notes of apricot and tea leaf on the incredibly long finish. While it certainly boasts more depth compared to the 2018, its elegant profile harkens to the gracefulness expressed in many of the best wines in that vintage. It's outstanding all the way through and is going to offer a tremendous amount of pleasure over the next 20 or more years.” 98, Audrey Frick, Jeb Dunnuck, May 2024
“The 2020 Barolo Francia is fascinating to taste next to the 2021. A substantial young Barolo, the 2020 offers notable mid-palate density and tons of pure explosive energy. Savory and mineral notes abound, but at this stage, the 2020 is a Barolo of fruit and texture. Practically seamless tannins pull it all together. I have a slight preference for the 2021, but it is neck and neck between these two great Barolos. A second bottle enjoyed in a local restaurant a few days after this tasting was every bit as memorable.” 98, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2025

"In fascinating contrast to “Vaillon”, Defaix’s “Côte de Lechet” is a master class in mineral precision. This remarkably steep site (a 45% gradient) with very poor soil produces a wine that Danny describes as embodying “the real, true mineral expression of Chablis.” Freshly blasted chalk dominates the nose, with notes of lemon, honey, and fresh herbs lurking underneath; still, this is a wine of minerality first and foremost. The family owns a 3.5-hectare parcel of 45-year-old vines in this distinctive cru, most of which are planted within a parcel known as the Clos des Moines." Rosenthal Wine Merchant

Elephant Hill Chardonnay 2021, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Hawke's Bay, Hawke's Bay
“Broad and appealing, offering notes of yuzu and Honeycrisp apple on a mouthwatering frame, with a whiff of smoked sea salt. Lingers with details of toasted brioche, lemon zest and fresh ginger. Drink now. 3,500 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.” 92, MaryAnn Worobiec, Wine Spectator, Oct 2024
“Vibrant aromas of peach, citrus, flint and some buttered toast are succeeded by a midweight palate that shows equally bright, mouthwatering acidity which cuts through the slippery texture, streamlining the Chard and making this a wine that's food friendly but easy to sip solo.” 91, Christina Pickard, Wine Enthusiast, Dec 2023
“Tasted before release, the 2021 Chardonnay is fresh and mid-weight with ripe apple fruit and melon characters. It offers fine tension and lemon pith with sufficient flesh on the mid-palate. More than 80% of the blend came from a coastal vineyard giving a salty, refreshing style.” 91, Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, Apr 2023

Vega-Sicilia Alion 2020, 1.5L
Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León
“2020 was drier than average until the harvest, when it rained and diluted the grapes, and they had to wait to regain concentration. The result is that the 2020 Alión is a wine with better balance and freshness. They felt the skins were very ripe and they could extract more and use a little more American oak (4%) in the élevage. From 2019, they kept the press wine separate until June, and they keep separate quantities of press wines that are aged in different containers depending on the quality of the wine. They used a percentage of concrete and oak vats for the élevage, which gives the wine more verticality and freshness. It's a subtle and elegant Alión, not as dense as some other vintages, but with nice balance and very elegant tannins. In 2020, they produced 285,485 bottles of this wine, 7,115 magnums and some larger formats. It was bottled in May 2022.” 95, Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, Jun 2024
“There’s a finesse and polish to this red with blackberries, black olives, iron and terra-cotta. Medium to full body, with slightly chewy tannins and a savory finish. It will soften nicely with time.” 94, James Suckling, Aug 2023

Vega-Sicilia Alion 2019, 1.5L
Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León
"Ripe, tarry plums and black cherries with violets, rocks, coffee and graphite. Refined notes of balsamic fruit and cocoa powder, too. Full-bodied and juicy with an iron fist of tannins, yet at the same time so velvety and polished. Very long, focused finish, showing lots of finesse and layers." 95, James Suckling, Jun 2022
“The 2019 Alión was cropped from a drier vintage compared with the average, and the wines from that year tend to be powerful, concentrated and with structure. They shortened the maceration by 11 days and used concrete for part of the élevage, trying to reduce the impact from the oak in the wine. They define 2019 as a powerful, concentrated and juicy vintage, sensual and unctuous. The wine is ripe at 15% alcohol and has mellow acidity (4.4 grams) and a pH of 3.88, reflecting the warm and dry year that delivered powerful and concentrated wines, similar to the wines from 2015. It's quite fruit-driven, ripe and juicy, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins despite the limited pumping over they did to avoid extracting too much, and the maceration was also shortened. 256,526 bottles, 7,005 magnums and some larger formats produced. It was bottled in June 2021.” 94, Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023
“Purple depths. More sophisticated, complex nose than Pintia 2018 just tasted. But sweet, black-fruited palate and some dryness on the end. Not the most refreshing or succulent.” 16, Jancis Robinson, Jan 2023

Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, California
"This shows notes of ripe blackberries and blackcurrants with hints of licorice, cloves, walnuts and chocolate. It has full body and a velvety tannin structure. Juicy and vibrant fruit on the palate with a touch of earthiness. Smooth and delicious. Long, fruity finish. Very pure fruit." 95, James Suckling, Jan 2022
“The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most potent wines I have tasted from Inglenook in a long time. Readers should be patient, as the 2019 is a mere infant. A rush of black cherry, mocha, licorice, spice and leather builds as this sumptuous, towering wine gradually opens with a bit of aeration. I would give the 2019 at least a few years in bottle, as the grippy tannins need time to soften.” 94, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Sep 2021
“Nicely weighted on the palate, this is full of dark fruits with menthol edges and lifted acidity. It's a full style, bold and powerful, with a delicious crunchy sweetness to the black cherry and blackcurrant fruit - everything's in place, fresh and lifted. After a few minutes mineral touches come through with fine tannins pushing the flavours to a long finish. Heady and evocative with harmony and refinement. Ageing 19 months in French oak (50% new).” 94, Georgina Hindle, Decanter, Jul 2022

Bessin-Tremblay Chablis Valmur Grand Cru 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Chablis, Burgundy
“A touch of matchstick character lurks in the background of the mostly white orchard fruit aromas that are liberally laced with hints of iodine, oyster shell and quinine. The exceptionally rich, even lush, larger-bodied flavors also brim with sappy dry extract that helps to buffer the firm acid spine shaping the powerful and impressively long finale. This beauty has everything it needs for a long life and I would add that it's going to need at least 5 to 7 years first as it's quite tightly wound today.” 94, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct 2024

Bessin-Tremblay Chablis La Fourchaume 1er Cru 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Chablis, Burgundy
“This is aromatically similar to the straight Fourchaume except for the more noticeable wood toast plus a whiff of citrus confit. There is more volume as well as more sappy dry extract that imparts a borderline opulent texture to the middle weight plus flavors that deliver excellent depth and persistence on the balanced finale. This is lovely and very promising.” 93, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct 2024

Bessin-Tremblay Chablis La Foret 1er Cru 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Chablis, Burgundy
“A subtly spicy nose is comprised by notes of lemon zest, white flower, sea breeze and a background hint of quinine. The delicious medium weight flavors also flash good minerality and more obvious powerful and a certain taut muscularity on the palate coating, balanced and moderately firm finale. Worth considering as this is really quite good.” 92, Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct 2024

Bessin-Tremblay Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Chablis, Burgundy
“Here too touch of mineral reduction add breadth to the lightly wooded aromas of oyster shell, iodine and pear. As is usually the case, there is slightly more volume and richness to the appealingly textured medium weight flavors that possess a succulent mid-palate that contrasts somewhat with the lemon, powerful and mildly rustic finale. This is a fine Chablis villages and worth your interest.” Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct 2024

Bessin-Tremblay Chablis 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Chablis, Burgundy
“An attractively layered nose combines notes of mineral reduction, pear, citrus and a whiff of tidal pool. The rich, delicious and generous middle weight flavors possess very good punch on the zest-inflected, clean, dry and youthfully austere finish. This understated effort should reward 5-ish years or so of cellaring.” Allen Meadows, Burghound, Oct 2024

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echézeaux 1999, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Echezeaux, Burgundy
"The 1999 Échézeaux stands out for its striking inner perfume and sweetness. Dark cherries, plums, mocha, violets and menthol all flesh out in a rich, inviting Burgundy that is just now beginning to approach an early plateau of maturity that will last another 20+ years. With time in the glass, the 1999 turns deep and rich. In this case, the vintage is a very strong marker, perhaps even more so than site. Far from an easygoing wine, the 1999 Échézeaux is a wine of notable intensity and pure power. (Drink between 2013-2039)." 94, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2013

Barnett Vineyards Chardonnay Sangiacomo Vineyard 2022, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Carneros, California
"The 2022 Sangiacomo Chardonnay has a beautiful full gold core. The aromatics leap out of the bottle upon opening. There is a range of fruit on the nose from bosc pear and apricot to guava and passionfruit. In addition, there is some jasmine spice and rosewater perfume. The wine is very rich this year, with the stone fruit and soapstone minerality prevailing on the pallet. The acidity is present but softer than in previous years. A wonderful expressive wine in its youth, this wine will age nicely over the next 5-6 years (2028-2029)." Winery Notes
