Lot #250. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Echézeaux 2001

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 95 JMQ.
"Dark red. Good intensity. Brilliant. Clean. Moderate intensity. Very fruity. Intense. Ample but reserved. A very beautiful entry on the palate - full of sweetness, developing to a juicy structure, dense, very, very fruity and very suave at the same time. The wine is pulpy, caressing and finishes powerfully, with liquorice and fruit; very finely woven with a spicy note. It is great wine - very pure and very racy." Jean-Marc Quarin, Quarin.com, Nov 2002
Provenance: The Dominion Cellar
Notes: Bin soiled capsule, bin soiled, damp stained, lightly faded, lightly scuffed label, #02930.
