"This wine is fashioned by Pride Mountain's winemaker, Bob Foley. The 1999 is a knock-out example. An opaque purple color accompanies gorgeous aromas of creme de cassis intertwined with graphite and sweet French oak. It is full-bodied and well-delineated, with beautiful purity as well as a remarkably long, textured, persistent finish It is an outstanding effort from this up and coming newcomer."
