A brilliant offering from Lucia, the 2005 Syrah is a full-bodied effort revealing dense ruby/purple colors, and sweet blackberry and cassis fruit intermixed with licorice and spring flower notes, good opulence and acidity, a 30-second plus finish, and plenty of full-bodied texture and length. This is a beautiful Syrah to drink over the next 7-10 years.
