"An attractive smoky, cherry, and herb-scented bouquet is moderately intense. The wine still exhibits noticeable tannins, as well as the 1978 vintage's weediness. Nevertheless, there is soft, voluptuous fruit in this medium-bodied, chunky La Lagune."
