In contrast to another magnum tasted in the big Richebourg tasting of 2001, as here the nose is incredibly complex, indeed more complex than either the La Tâche or Romanée-Conti with incredible dried rose petal, spice and touches of sous bois followed by mouth coating flavors that deliver superb detail plus a finish that is class personified. This is drinking beautifully now from this format and should continue to do so. 96/now+
