"Tasted in Hong Kong. I have not tasted this since it was first released (and purchased a couple of bottles for my cellar.) It was a wise purchase. It has a truly wonderful bouquet with immense clarity and mineralité, still surprisingly youthful with notes of freshly tilled soil, granite, undergrowth and dark berries intermingling and full of energy. The palate is supremely well balanced with touches of black truffle and mushroom, fanning out nicely towards the silky-smooth finish that remains tense and vibrant. This wine illuminates the terroir."
