Bricked through with a still ruby core. An unusually elegant and gorgeously pure panoply of mature fruit aromas that includes undertones of earth, sous bois and subtle spice notes lead to intense, powerful and detailed full-bodied flavors that possess terrific mid-palate concentration and real power on the penetrating, dusty and mouth coating finish that seems to go on and on. This is a big Chambertin but it's in perfect balance and it should continue to hold at this plateau for years to come. In a word, terrific. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
