"Tasted blind at Harry Gill’s annual lunch. Well, this completely passes my sentiments when I first tasted this after bottling. It has a thrilling bouquet with spellbinding definition that actually reminded me of Henri Jayer’s Echezeaux 2000. This is just pure, unfettered Pinot. The palate is beautifully balanced with breathtaking definition, balancing on a high wire with such effortlessness, with mineral-rich bright red fruits infused with a sorbet-like freshness on the long finish. Sensational . . . . Tasted February 2010."
