"Deep red-ruby. Dusty cherry, currant, rose petal, dark chocolate, coffee and minerals on the nose. Bright, sappy and claret-like, with juicy flavors of maraschino cherry, berries and coffee. Lively, elegant and very light on its feet, with an enticing subtle sweetness. What a relief: a full-flavored, food-friendly Bordeaux blend from California with a moderate 13.5% alcohol. Firm acids and tannins give this very bright wine excellent structure."
