"Bright ruby-red. Spicy aromas of red berries, licorice and mint. Rich, sweet, generous and rather fat in the mouth, with lovely depth of flavor. Shows the mint and licorice notes typical of Howell Mountain cabernet, but this is unusually pliant for a cabernet from this area. Tangy, spicy and fairly long, finishing with a late burst of blackberry liqueur."
