Quite a bit of toast with hints of char frame ultra ripe (but not pruney) aromas of blackberry jam and gorgeous spice notes that lead to sweet, refined and unbelievably powerful flavors that are surprisingly supple given the massive size and weight, all wrapped in a complex, warm and explosive finish. The backend is such that it's like a bomb going off on your palate and the persistence is simply formidable. There is a lot of buried structure that is completely buffered by the amazingly high level of extract. A seriously impressive wine and fans of raw size and power will love this.
