A gentle touch of wood sets off solidly complex aromas of ripe dark berry fruit, earth and floral hints that complement the seductive and velvet-textured flavors that are quite stylish and classy and while impressively persistent, the finish doesn't quite match the nose in terms of overall depth. We will see what happens with time in bottle.
