The 1993 Profile (approximately 30% Merlot in the blend) reveals high quality, toasty, vanillin-scented, new French oak intertwined with blackcurrant fruit aromas. The wine is rich and full-bodied, with excellent definition, and a powerful, chewy finish. The tannin is present, but it is riper and better integrated than in the 1992.
