The 2005 Syrah OGT is a blend of 50% Colson Canyon fruit, 25% from Tierra Alta, and 25% from Thompson. Bottled only in magnums, it possesses a dense purple color as well as notes of blackberries, black currants, flowers, scorched earth, and coffee beans. Thick and viscous, with plenty of definition as well as a savory quality, this wine should age beautifully for 15-20 years.

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
