A cool, pure and quite airy nose of floral, dark berry fruit, truffle and sauvage aromas leads to mineral-inflected and vibrant middle weight flavors that are very Gevrey in character, all wrapped in a long and palate staining finish. There is subtle backend wood influence to this robust effort though there is sufficient mid-palate material present so that it shouldn't present an issue after a few years in bottle.
