"Aromas of caramel, butterscotch and dried lemon follow through to a full body, with medium sweetness and a lovely lemony finish. Spicy too. Balanced and refined. Very long on the finish. This was always outstanding. [—1988/1998 Bordeaux blind retrospective, 2008.]"
