"Their Grenache-based 2006 Coteaux du Languedoc Montpeyroux Terra Solis . . . continues to display lovely black fruits with a smoky, dusty overlay, piquant nuttiness, and a finish of bitter sweet intensity and what now appears to be the estate hallmark brightness and refreshment. Suffused with a dusty, smoky note I associate with schist soils; persistently piquant and pungent in its toasted nut and smoke cast; and exhilaratingly vivid in its ripe fresh fruit (and bitter fruit skin edge), this pure, penetrating blend leaves the mouth not just stained, but positively tingling and refreshed. I would not hesitate to hold it . . ."
