"From vines planted in 1934 that directly abut Charmes-Chambertin. An attractive nose of dark cherry and kirsch is trimmed in soft hints of underbrush, freshly turned earth and toasty oak that continues onto the supple and relatively forward flavors that are supported by slightly riper tannins and fine length on the balanced finish. This is a lovely villages and the character of the old vines is clearly in evidence."
