"Good bright, dark red. Knockout nose melds black raspberry, pepper, cola, coffee and loam, lifted by a whiff of orange peel; I hate to describe a blend as Chambolle-like but that's the overall effect. Rich, concentrated and stuffed with red fruits and spices. Wonderfully mouthfilling, perfumed wine with layered complexity and terrific verve. Broad but magically light, finishing with fine-grained tannins and echoing perfume of sappy raspberry and flowers. I would not be surprised if this merited an even higher score in three or four years."
