"Impressively saturated ruby color. Knockout floral nose combines blackcurrant, spices and shoe polish. Lush and supple in the mouth, with extraordinarily pure fruit character, yet more tightly wrapped than the '96 due to stronger acidity. Really juicy and penetrating, though, and very long on the finish."
