"Elegant, pure, ripe and spicy with really lovely aromatic complexity that is followed by rich, full and sweet yet beautifully delineated flavors that offer excellent phenolic ripeness, good depth and an impressively long finish underpinned by dusty finishing tannins. This is a really pretty effort that could be approached now because it is so well-balanced but it should reward . . . cellar time. [Bottled at 13.5% alcohol.]"
