"Bright, saturated ruby-red. Knockout nose offers roasted dark fruits, baking spices, violet, gunflint and bonfire. Sweet, full and impressively concentrated; perhaps the most pliant today of this set of syrahs. Wonderfully sweet red and black fruit flavors enlivened by firm acids and underlying minerality. Finishes suave and long, with some emerging notes of tar and chocolate. The best vintage to date for this bottling."
