"As is often the case, the now largely mature nose displays bright cherries, kirsch and mostly red fruits followed by unusually fine, round and accessible flavors, given the sheer scope and size of the flavor spectrum. The flavors are penetrating and extremely long and while this should live for several more decades, there is probably no more improvement in the offing. An exceptionally elegant '90 that has it all - power, length, finesse, old vine complexity and balance. Multiple, and consistent, notes."
