"The saturated, medium to dark ruby-colored 1996 Cistes has cedary black fruit aromas. This firm and rustic wine is medium-bodied, loaded with tobacco-laced tar and dark fruit flavors, and reveals excellent depth. It is harmonious, well-made, and intense."
