"ood medium red. Distinctly wild aromas of red fruits, chorizo, pepper, minerals, leather, grilled vegetables and smoke; this could easily pass for a Northern Rhone wine. Suave and silky on entry, then sauvage in the middle palate, with notes of game, pepper and spices. Fresh, dry and persistent on the slightly leathery aftertaste. A very stylish wine that's like a cross between St. Joseph and Cornas."

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
Syrah (Shiraz) produces dark, powerful reds with black fruit, pepper and smoked-meat notes. It yields elegant, perfumed wines in the northern Rhone and bold, rich styles in Australia.
