"My favorite of the collection, the 2008 Pinot Noir Les Dijonnais is lighter in color but no less fragrant. Already complex aromas of pomegranate, red licorice, underbrush, cherry, and raspberry jump from the glass. This is followed by a powerfully intense, satin-textured, seamless wine that seems to glide endlessly on the palate. This lengthy effort has remarkable finesse and balance while concealing enough structure to evolve for a decade."

The fourth-largest wine producer in the world, led by California. American fine wine is defined by ripe, expressive fruit and a spirit of innovation, with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon among the most sought-after wines globally.
A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
