"The 1992 Geyserville Proprietary Red Wine (65% Zinfandel, 20% Carignan, and 15% Petite Sirah) offers an opaque dark ruby/purple color, and a huge, roasted meat, smoky, spicy, black-raspberry-scented nose. With gobs of rich, chewy fruit, low acidity, and admirable power and richness . . . . The third straight superlative vintage for Ridge, its three 1992 Zinfandels (Geyserville Proprietary Red Wine, Dusi Ranch and Lytton Springs) are big, rich, decadent wines with higher alcohol levels than the 1991s or 1990s, and possibly more voluptuous and opulent textures."
