"The superb 1998 Pinot Noir Archery Summit Vineyard was made from Oregon's new Dijon clones for Pinot Noir - #115, #113, and #777. A dark ruby-colored wine with purple nuances, its soaring aromatics jump from the glass, offering up black raspberries, cherries, plums, toast, and flowers. Medium to full-bodied, with a terrific mid-palate, a creamy texture, and enough acidity to provide focus and balance, this wine's outstanding purity as well as stunning richness and harmony make for a sumptuous glass of Pinot Noir."
