"Tasted alongside their young 2011s, St. Innocent’s St. Innocent’s 2008 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard exhibits sweet cherry fruit allied to a briny, alkaline, maritime minerality. Rich and expansive on a polished palate, it gains smoky black tea and mossy intrigue en route to a superbly-sustained finish. I could imagine this becoming even more expressive over the next several years, though I wouldn’t defer the pleasure of keeping-company with a bottle or two near-term."
