"The Fröhlichs are still expanding and in this instance have acquired a piece of better-known acreage. (Not that their wines from Bockenau and Monzingen are wanting in either terroir or taste. ) Apparently, the vineyard designation may be left off the label used for the U.S. Citrus and brown spices in the nose. Pear nectar and candied lemon on the palate. This offers refined layers of minerality and tart red fruit accents, both of which crescendo into a forceful finish."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
